I have plenty of friends in college and outside of school but the problem is, no one ever likes to achieve the same things as I do at bars. This makes approaching a lot more difficult in a college bar setting and in other bars as well (not as bad though) because you lack social proof.
If I ever go out with friends, most of the time they like to be lame and stick within their comfort zones and chill at the same tables drinking their beers amongst each other. Nothing wrong with that, but if I'm at the bars or club, my goals are different; I want to meet people and possibly get a number or two?
It's a bit annoying that I can't find a regular group of friend(s) that want the same goals as I do. Is that being selfish? Is me being a bit annoyed justified?
Anyone out here solo game, prefer solo game, or have no better choice but to go out solo? Am I trying too hard?
