I mean, my friend is a smooth talker, a better people person, and knows how to entertain the crowd and win the girls over.
When I go out with him, he's a lot better at engaging, smiling, and winning people over (so to speak), when I do all the same fundamental principles as he does. I smile, introduce myself, do light kino in the beginning, and ask about them. I do a lot of RSD inner game principles as well. I'm very much outcome independent (didn't get a number? Eh, I don't care), I try to entertain MYSELF (this one is still tricky for me), and I don't really care about what the other person thinks. I'm there to have fun. You can say I have the basics down, but it gets discouraging when someone a lot better than you with a girlfriend knows how to win the crowd over and gets the numbers (they gave the numbers to him, rather than asking).
Am I jealous? You can say I am just a bit. Just a bit frustrated if anything. At the moment and at the end of the night, I'm not pissed off, bitter, or grumpy about it, because he is my friend and probably has had a bit more experience than I do. See where I'm coming from though; going out with someone better than you is a better and more enriching experience but you'll be like me and people will have their backs turned towards me. Reflecting though, I'm not insecure about it. I'm not frantically waving around (figurative sense) yelling "hey look at me, pay attention!". I don't even have that angry feeling like I did last year when I'm not getting my way.
Conversely, I took my other friends out that are less experienced at night game than me, and I was in the opposite position. I was having a blast but I was worried I was taking all the fun because I was the one with the abundance of energy compared to everyone else.
What does one do when one goes out and you're the least experienced and less badass one of the group? How can get into state and put myself out there?
