We all get to that point where we’re tired of not getting what we not, and tired of not having anything to show for our efforts. Anybody who has tried to build any skill has experienced this. Here are some tips for getting through it.

1) There will always be another opportunity Older people here know. How many countless times have we beat ourselves up over messing things up with the girl of our dreams? Thinking that surely, we will never meet anyone else like that ever again.

While it’s true that you may never meet someone exactly like her, I assure you, you will meet somebody else who captivates you in the same way. Big caveat: If you keep trying, and putting yourself out there.

2) You Probably Care too Much You ever get overly upset about something petty? Like a coworker who says something passive aggressive, and it disproportionately enrages you? It wasn’t really about the comment your coworker said, there’s a larger issue: you hate your job, you’re dissatisfied with life etc.

Same with dating. When you get to the point that rejection is triggering a strong emotional reaction, you need to stop and take stock of whats really going on in your life. Why are you so upset about somebody not being interested in you? They don’t owe you that, it shouldn’t be a big deal.

Likely you are having self esteem issues, you are placing too much value on the validation of someone else. Maybe chill out for a bit, meditate, journal etc.

3) Consistency is key Putting in a bunch of effort at once will lead to burn out and frustration. Spreading your effort out over time, consistently planting seeds, socializing, making connections in general, will help you a lot more.

4) Be Kind to Yourself This ties in a bit with the “you care too much” advice. Self-hatred can manifest in some very ugly ways. You see this a lot with incels. They hate themselves, and fully believe they are unlovable, undesirable, and that women only view them as playthings for cruel amusement.

It’s not hard to see how that can lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy. Say a woman flakes on you, solely as an absent-minded mistake. If you have healthy self-esteem you may be annoyed, but you realize that reflects more on her than you.

If you hate yourself, the narrative in your head becomes more vicious. You are some disgusting. Freak who creeped her out and you were. A fool to ever think she would have been interested. In fact shes probably with chad right now laughing with him over your pathetic texts.

Alright y’all, that’s all I got for now. I just recently got over a frustration point myself, so thought I’d share some advice. Good luck out there.
