First, I'd start dating another girl. Keep yourself motivated to meet new people and start another relationship.

There is no easy answer, and it is always a struggle. I'd recommend meditation to clear your mind a bit, and really focus on why you feel you need a relationship, while reminding yourself and accepting that things are only casual with this girl.

Be hesitent to get your emotions involved, and use that desire for emotional attachment to test the girl and look for mutual emotional investment. Try to slow down your attachment to line up with hers.

And Fine that means I am going to go out there and sleep with other women/as many women as I can is not a good answer.

Just wanted to say thanks guys for the tips for this kind of situation. Been having these kind of situations myself and the different type of mental states during those are quite annoying when you can't seem to "control" emotions rationally. I'm in a situation where I'm good friends (or a bit more) with a girl who I'm really into but it seems that I'm the one who's more emotionally invested. It's quite hard for me to alter the relationship's state to just friendship even though I really appreciate that with this great girl.

Casual means she is eyeing another guy for some action and wants to keep you around in case it fucks up. I say if you're uncomfortable with that setup, you discuss it with her. If she doesn't want to go your way, you break up.

However, if you're okay with it, simply treat it like a casual relationship. Stop calling as much. Schedule a lot less dates. Most importantly, get some other dates. Build a little abundance mentality and competition. When she gets her head out of her ass and realizes that she's this close to losing you to much more exciting ground, then she'll step up her game and try to win you over.
