Heyo seddit! So for the past week I have been doing the cold approach for the first time. I have talked to 5-6 girls and right now it doesn't seem as bad as it did previously. With most of them, I've had pleasant conversations and I don't regret going for it. I really have to thank you for the encouragemnet. I am just having doubts whether I was effective and smooth enough. My three past approaches were directed at very attractive girls, with whom I had ~5 minute conversations. I asked questions relating to their hobbies, profession, interests with some follow-up questions. I also shared interests of mine if there were any common and made some jokes. Each time I made a small compliment in the middle of the chat. Possible issue I found, was that some of the times I stuttered in the middle of a sentence. Also I noticed, that when I talk I really avoid eye contact. Overall they seemed pleased with the approach and talk. Unforunately, when seperating, each time I went in for the number/info they all said they had boyfriends. Were they lying or was I just plain unlucky? Was it possible to play it out better? Should I have been more persistent?
