It's a a new hurdle to overcome - approaching women when you already have one in your life, and when that little voice in your head tells you that you don't need to do that anymore.

You're in an open relationship. That means that you're in a very priviledged position now. Think about it and realise this: you're with a girl who's okay with you approaching other girls. Go ahead and take advantage of the situation you're in.

Its ok - I've met other dudes (naturals mainly) who are married or steady gfs and they still flirt with other girls. Like you look at a natural who is good with women, and you see it as just part of their personality. That would be like a girl getting david beckem and then telling him he couldn't play soccer anymore. So I've had these kinds of discussions with naturals and couples and a lot of girls seem ok with their man continue to flirt with girls - but they just have rules in place, like no hooking up, or kissing, etc. I mean, technically that could mean doing something like going for the pull but bailing out last minute (or fucking up on purpose) just to keep those skills oiled.

So it seems to be a thing that's known and fairly common. I think a lot of men are aware that retaining those skills are very important for their personal growth.

You should talk about it with your girl first though. Don't just assume. And don't go cold on your skills. I've seen guys completely drop pickup after getting a girl. End up losing the girl cuz they regressed into losers, and then tried to game again and got really bad AA or just couldn't do it again.

Dude you re able to date this beautiful woman because you were alpha when you approached her.

That means you had other choices too, but you prefered to spend more time with her.She sees that and she appreciates it.

This situation doesn't change when you get into the relationship. If you stop approaching, you will not have any other options and she will take advantage of that. You will become more needy and guess what? Women are disgusted by neediness. Afterwards see ll probably make out with the barman from the club she ll hit on Saturday and you ll come back here to complain about the wh... that cheated on you.

If you're in an open relationship you can just keep approaching I would think? However, I generally find these relationships are not sustainable if they start that way (opening it up after a long time is likely more sustainable)

It's not a committed relationship, so yeah you should still keep your game. Be aware though that if either of you keep doing it after you agree to commit, this relationship has a higher chance of going down. Actually, if you work on yourself and see women as normal people, then chance is you will be attractive to women without needing any game, and in the worst case where your current relationship is done, you won't have to worry about games and what.
