"I'm good looking but I can't get any girls!" you exclaim. That's becuase you suck, so stop being you. Be someone better.

A lot of people have to hold on to their identities. These are especially people with shallow identities that can be easily ruined, like stapling a bunch of pieces of paper to a big cardboard box. It's so easy for someone else to come along and rip that off, though, so people will defend their stapled identity any way they can.

You probably have a stapled identity right now. That's why you're uninteresting. It's so easy to say "I'm a gamer, a weight-lifter and a feminist!" but when you're not gaming, lifting, or whatever feminists do, then what are you? A boring loser. "But I have hobbies!" Fuck your hobbies. Your hobbies aren't you. Your idea of yourself is a sham, and how you see yourself is not at all how others see you.

What you need to focus on is an identity through experience. Instead of stapling labels to yourself to pretend like your cardboard box is beatiful, go out into life and fill it up. Do interesting things, and let that experience be the weight of your box.

Failure is a part of the journey, and at first it feels horrible. It can leave marks on the outside of your box, dirtying up your perception of yourself. But that doesn't matter. In time, those flaws from failure should be covered by what others leave in and on your box of life. Eventually your failures will be just a part of you, and success will be the only image on your box. But people can tell genuine success from the fake image of self-perception.

Experience is the only thing that will teach you who you are. You can guess that you will like something or not, but like Schrodinger's cat, you'll never know for sure until you check. Go check. It'll be the hardest thing you ever do, and you will do it all your life, but that is the cost of being an interesting human. If you are not willing to pay that cost, then you simply won't change.

Becoming an interesting person who gets laid is hard. But it will help you in literally every aspect of your life, for the rest of your life. So stop being you, and go do something you would NOT do. Then do some more things. Soon you'll see that you really aren't the same person as before, and you'll appreciate it, because what you have made is better. And if it's not, start over, because you always can.
