Situational openers are my go-to because they're always on topic and immediately show women you have the ability to talk to them like a human (which most like). I stay away from canned lines because its likely a woman will know it and she will write you off as a "gross pua".

Reply at long intervals. Texting is fine, no matter what people on this sub say, as long as it isn't constant. What women want from texting is your attention, and one of the things that attract women most is not getting attention. So limit the attention you give to maintain attraction and it ensures that she won't lose interest from lack of communication.
/r/seduction27/12/14 10:16 PM

Overcoming your fear is a result of facing it. You can talk yourself up as much as you want but it won't necessarily work. Assume attraction, make eye contact, and start walking. Momentum can do the rest. The best opener is "hi".

Getting numbers doesn't mean shit, which is why I have a problem with this article. You make that the goal, even if you convince yourself you're "just in it for the conversation". You can get a girl's number just as easily by making her uncomfortable and then being persistent until she gives you something so you'll leave.
/r/seduction27/10/14 07:23 PM

Yeah but this isn't an article on how to thread a conversation, it's not even about becoming more confident approaching, really. It's a stock "try this and sometimes it works" approach that isn't conducive to actual learning. The only people who are going to get better with women using this method are the ones that realize it's bunk.

You're telling people to use the same canned openers that pua's have been using for decades. There's no originality, so of course your results are bad. I also think cold approaching on the street is a waste of time. Get some girl friends and have them introduce you to women. Way more attractive than being some dude off the street.

I think this is some really stock advice. You said it yourself it has a low success rate, and it won't make you a more interesting person. Having the same (boring) conversation over and over won't score many dates, and it certainly won't prepare anyone for a date.
/r/seduction21/10/14 06:30 AM

You said it yourself, you don't think you're attractive. When a woman says you're hot it freaks you out because it sounds like lying to you, so you're off put.

If you're getting flakes it's because you haven't built enough rapport. Have better conversations, be more interesting.

First off, "improving" and "being someone else" are the same thing. Being a better version of yourself necessarily means that you are not the worse version of yourself, which is someone else. Once you change your response to a certain situation, you are NOT acting like yourself, and thus you are NOT that same self. I'm not saying to stop doing things. Have hobbies, things you like and all that, but don't make it your identity. You can list all the things you do, but if your identity is only a li…

Just show your inexperience and do your best. Chances are that if she's experienced, she'll guide you to do what she wants. You just have to learn, and making mistakes along the way is not only ok, but an expected and vital part of eventual success.

Start disagreeing with people more. Even if you're just playing devil's advocate, make opinions and share them. Be wrong, and defend yourself. Your problem is that you aren't participatory, and you won't be able to change your mindset until you start behaving differently. Just watching and reading won't get you there.

You have to go fail more. Seriously. You have to escalate and show attraction. And sometimes it will be thrown back in your face, and it'll feel horrible, but you'll be a better person for it. Then one day someone won't reject you and you'll realize that your failures were the only road to your success.

My one piece of advice is to let yourself fail. Fail and fail and fail, and look back on those failures and change your actions. Failure is the only route to success, and if you cannot accept that then you will never be successful. For more, I just wrote this article.

Kino is a great way to convey romantic feelings, especially in intimate but not necessarily sexual places like the small of the back. You can be overt in the right way and also engage a response.

A good lead should be able to get a follow to do a lot of dance moves she doesn't know. Of course there are some moves where you both should really know what your'e doing, but a lot of simple dips from closed position can be done safely.

As long as you set clear expectations it's fine. What you've become is genuinely attractive, so it's natural for some women to have strong, genuine emotions for you.

The great thing about dancing is that it's just the base for more kino. I've done some ballroom (mostly swing, though), and a girl will not only be impressed by a good lead, but you also are continuously doing kino. To escalate more, like making out on the dance floor, I suggest you learn a few blues moves. There are a few dips that end with you bringing the girl right up to your face. With dips though be careful, it's better to do it really slow and have control because some women will throw th…

You may feel defeated but you didn't fail. Sometimes you'll just get written off, and it doesn't necessarily mean anything about you. There are countless factors that go into whether or not someone will be receptive to you that you can't control, and far fewer that you can.

I've been there. We have a beachside apartment and Ikea furniture. But it's just a fantasy, and I realize that. A conscious recognition of your fantasy as just that will allow you dissociate the idea of this girl from the real one. Knowing the difference between the two will let you put yourself in the correct state of mind to attract her because you know she isn't the grand prize you pretend for yourself. The fantasy will always be there. But it's your fantasy, and in the real world you have to…

Wow. Ok. So my experience at parties has been WAY different. First off, if it's a bunch of teenagers you don't need expensive booze. People will be just as happy if you show up with a plastic handle of vodka and some cranberry juice rather than a $30 bottle of scotch. You shouldn't have to blow big bucks to make friends. You don't even need to contribute booze most of the time I've found, as parties are generally well stocked or people pre-game. What you do have to contribute, and you were right…

Ok so here's the thing: first you should read the guides on the sidebar, especially the ones about how to touch a girl. It'll give you some frame of reference, even if it is only theoretical. Watching videos could help, but you'll never do it if you don't try. Once you have an understanding of how to talk to people and touch them as part of the conversation (which you can read about here, or...) go out and do it. Talk to classmates, neighbors, whoever. Kino appropriately.

Ok, there's definitely time for all 3. In any given day, you can work out for 2 hours, do homework for 5, chase girls for 3 and still have 6 waking hours to shit and eat and go to class. Time management. Anyway. Ask that girl out. The worst she'll say is no, and I'll tell you why you won't fear a yes. You're going to talk to her first and ask about her hobbies, and then you can suggest a date around that. Now you have something to talk about, possibly be playfully competitive about, and as long …

Hey, so here's the thing about growing as a person: it's not easy. It can't be. That's the point. Something so incredibly stark has to happen in your life that your entire mind changes a little, and you start thinking in a different way. So the only thing you can do is go out and try to talk to people. Go fail. Then do it again, and think about what happened. Sit in a bar and casually observe other people approach strangers, and see what works. Then do it yourself. Soon you'll find confidence be…

Over invested is more like you're always texting her, you respond right away, you talk about your future together, etc. It's things you do to show how emotionally involved you are. It's how bad she thinks you're going to take it when she says it's not going to happen. Showing interest with body language is different. It shows intent, not investment. It shows that you want something and you're going to do something about it where you can, not over the phone hoping that your emotions match hers. T…

Make sure you have a good playlist or station or something. Nothing with commercials, it totally kills the mood of the party. Variety is generally good, even if you just randomly skip genres - few people will care (if any). Keep an eye out for vultures who will unplug your iPhone and start their own playlist. If things are getting slow, start rounding up people to play a large group drinking game like rage cage, King's Cup, Cheers Gov'nor. If you can, have some open space for dancing.

Length of time isn't as important as building attraction, and that's what I was doing while I messaged. I also specifically did not get her number simply because I didn't want her to have mine in case she was a nut. Mostly the acting fast mindset is because you'll quickly lose attraction of you don't work to keep it up, which is hard to do over messaging.

You may want relationship, but you probably do not know the kind of person you actually want a relationship with. This is a problem for many people, even people who think they do know what they want. I was in the latter category, and I got burned because of it. My advice is to date for a while, be as sexual as you are comfortable with, and start to find out the kind of person you actually want to date before being serious.

I've dealt a lot with high anxiety and situations that feel like you have no control. What I've found is that it helps to focus on your breathing, and make sure you are taking slow, easy breaths. When you have composed yourself, go get a drink, not because you need to drink more, but because it will give you something to do. Now you're at the drink table, and guess what? Try to relax during a conversation - you may not be able to at first, but that just means you have to get used to talking to people. Which means talking to people a lot. After every conversation you have, instead of focusing on what you could have messed up, try to remember things in the conversation that were interesting or that you otherwise liked. This will help you recall conversations in a positive way, which will make them seem more enjoyable.

As someone with ballroom dancing experience, dipping can be dangerous. Many women don't know that they're supposed to be holding up much of their weight in a dip, and will proceed to make you hold up their entire body weight, which, if you aren't properly based, will make both of you fall.

This sub teaching you to think promiscuously is to get you into an abundance mindset. Like pretty much everyone else alive who has some sort of awareness of how other people think and feel, I have massive AA. This is called a generalization, and it's likely very wrong. Being aware of how you think others perceive you shouldn't be a reason you have AA as you implied. That's a bad mindset to be in ever because it shows a total lack of confidence. Online dating should just be an extension of your real life dating. Yes, it's shallow to an extent, but people still find hookups and relationships on those sites. If you're having a lot of difficulty with online dating, change up what you do. Not being photogenic is not an excuse, you can learn to be photogenic. Practice smiling in the mirror, and look up how to take a picture of yourself in good light (because good lighting really does make all the difference).

If you're going to write an FR, it should good no matter your level. This means there's something to take away from the experience - if there isn't, you wasted your time. Personally, I don't think most beginners should be writing FRs because there's nothing that will be said that hasn't been said before better. But you did, and for a good enough reason. If your day game isn't any good, start changing how you do things. Are you smiling when you approach? Does the woman see you approaching, or do …

Before anything else, this isn't a good FR. You didn't seem to learn anything of unique value, you don't have a imposing question to be answered, and you aren't spreading any good advice. With that said, it is still good that you went out. You seem to have a few concepts in your head that can be toxic. First, your distinction between "cute" and "beautiful" girls. This seems like a distinction that will hold you back from approaching women you are really attracted to. It's the same reason the HB …

From what I can tell, this is a pretty common phenomena. I think it has to do partly with foreigners being kind of unicorns, and the attitude people get when they're in another place they don't consider home. Being removed from people you expect to see again can cause that "no fucks given" attitude this sub always talks about.
/r/seduction12/05/14 08:59 PM

The answer to this, like most questions on here, is "it depends". Are you telling a girl you've talked to twice that you love her? Probably a bad idea. In most cases, you should be genuine with how you feel and express it appropriately with words over actions. Being direct is often a good idea. For example, if a woman flakes on you, you could say you're disappointed and she likely won't think you're some kind chump clinger. Instead, she might realize that you really are interested (women can be …

I think people need to redefine success for themselves. Often, success is "I reached the goal". This is especially true in games we play - the only way to succeed in the game is to win it. But in real life that breaks down sometimes, and success doesn't have to be "I won" because there is no point where that happens. Sure, getting laid could mean you were successful, but does it mean you "won" forever? No, because you aren't constantly having sex. I think a better way for people on this sub to l…

After a few minutes of intellectual explanation, ask her a question almost or totally unrelated to the subject and touch her hand/forearm when you ask. This will get you to start escalating and keep the conversation moving, especially if she starts to look bored. I disagree that the "manly" option is always the more correct one, and I think the problem you thought you solved is simpler than you think. Attracting women is an emotional game, by "understanding" women it seems like you're trying to use logic to game. I think it's only really important that you have a strong, positive initial emotional connection with a woman to get her to be attracted to you.

There's no club you can go to that's full of only moderately attractive girls that you think are in your league. Something that may help: before you go out, while you're getting ready, pump some party tunes. Not top 40 stuff necessarily, just stuff that's upbeat that you really like to get you in the mood to have fun. Sing along and dance with the door closed. If you can't make a fool of yourself by yourself, you're going to have a hard time being loose around other people.

I think this is a good place to come for help. What you want is to be better at social interactions, and that's what this sub's for. First off, I'm not sure what you mean by "drove me into psychiatry" but I am assuming that means you're seeing a mental health professional. If that's the case, and you're still seeing them, please talk to them about this as well because I'm sure they have a much better understanding of you than any stranger on this website could after reading one post you made. At it's absolute core, it is partially evolutionary psychology, however because the majority of the community seems to be these "angry and spiteful" redditors, it turns the entire subreddit into something rather atrocious. There are gems of wisdom there, but they are few and far between besides being buried beneath the philosophies on there about women being inferior or untrustworthy. Isolation in frat party (or any house party) is easy. Take her to the backyard, or over in the more empty, open room, or a balcony. Hell, I moved from a hallway five steps into the kitchen and kissed her there, and it was an open kitchen.

I did say almost as good as a no, not a definite rejection. I do mean forget. A few weeks of not seeing a girl, sometimes even a few days can be enough for a girl to stop caring and move on. Not that you can't do anything to win her back, but the idea is to make a move while you're still fresh in her mind. Or she could find someone else that she's willing to make time for.
/r/seduction22/01/14 05:42 PM
1

If you get something as vague as "another time", it's almost as good as a no. You can spin the "what's your schedule" line to not feel robotic. This is merely about making sure you get a date with a girl who is interested before she forgets why she's interested in you.
/r/seduction22/01/14 12:32 AM
1

Your honesty is an emotional commitment, not just how you feel. If you tell a girl you really like her, there are deep implications that you want more than casual sex. For her, she may just want casual sex (even if she doesn't explicitly say it) and not full-blown relationship. And that's what you're implying. You can be genuine in other ways, and you shouldn't have to tell a girl how you feel about her with words.

Start talking to her. Ask her out on a date. Take to prom. If any of those three steps don't make sense to you, feel free to read everything on the sidebar. If you have questions after that, feel free to ask me.

"What do you do outside of classes and partying?" - Try to find a mutual interest by asking about the things they like. People are good at talking about things they like. "Who do you know at the party?" - Find people that are common ground, share experiences you had with your mutual friend. "What're you drinking?" Followed by "That's a good drink...for a girl" - Talking about drink is topical and can lead to other, more interesting topics. You can definitely get to know a girl at a party, and no…

It sounds like you need to learn how to deal with confrontation, which isn't something I feel I can teach you in a reddit post. If your friend is stealing money from you, you have a friend problem and a money problem. The money problem in particular can escalate very quickly, so whatever path you choose to resolve that problem I'd recommend you exercise caution. No, there isn't. You can tease her a little over text, but you're going to build most of the attraction through actually seeing here. Texting is like spark, if used right you can build a fire, but if you just sit there throwing sparks you won't get anywhere. If you want to ask her out via text, you don't have to build up to it much. A few texts catching up, then ask to go out for coffee or whatever your casual first date idea is.

The compliance will come from a few things: how much she trusts you, how it'll affect her relationship with her group/friend, and how much she's interested in you. Gain group trust by being a positive part of the conversation. Gaining her trust is mostly the same - prove you're a likable person through conversation. There's a term: escalate and isolate. Make some excuse to get away from the group. At a party, this could be "hey let's grab another drink" or even "come with me while I grab another drink". I even once said at a party, "Hey let's go to the kitchen" where the kitchen was four steps away and completely open.

You can transition by making your joking touches last a little longer than normal. Leave your hand on her shoulder for a few seconds and see how she responds. If she starts touching you for the same lengths of time, that's your signal to escalate.

It's often best to try and friend the other guy(s) in a group early on. If that's not possible or intuitive to the situation (all sitting together but one is obviously not part of a conversation with the rest of the group), I like to put on a friendly face and hold my ground. If she's not ready to give up her LTR or cheat then you shouldn't be pushing her to do either. You can always find another girl. Give her space and wait for her to actually leave the relationship because if she's still in it then she still has some feelings for this other guy. Possible, yet unlikely alternative: she made up the LTR and just doesn't want to have sex with you. In which case, move on.

The key to conversations is to find common ground. Be at least mildly observant and look for something she's wearing/doing that you have some interest in. Start talking about this thing, then if she mentions something else, follow that tangent to a new topic of conversation. Repeat as necessary.

It's not in the glossary, so here's my definition: being able to entertain yourself regardless of the circumstances. You are able to BE the fun, you bring the party. You determine that you have a good time because you'll make sure that you do. It helps with outcome independence because if you're self-amused, you'll keep a positive attitude even in the face of bad vibes.

Give her an honest compliment about something you could find even mildly interesting. For example, you could say something nice about her nails and talk about how some of your guy friends get manicures but you're not sure if it's for you and take it from there.

Because saying it doesn't take "the fire" out of them, it strengthens people's (including your) association of that group with derogatory statements. I seriously doubt you would refer to a group of black people as "some niggers". Why would you refer to a group of women as "some sluts"?

So being derogatory and crude is the only manly way to talk? If I don't call women sluts who are only good for their cunts I'm not a real man? The girls that go to them want to hook up, all you have to do is not be a total sleezeball and you'll be fine. Talk to girls, be even a little funny, and pay attention to your and her kino. Kiss early, don't fuck her if she's too drunk. Don't worry about seeing a hook up again, because it doesn't have to be awkward unless you make it awkward. Have fun, stay safe!

Asking for your age isn't a shit test, something along the lines of "You look a little young for me" is. Shit tests seem like the female version of negging to me, and both parties can fail by giving a bad answer.

You do want the validation of the group because it shows to the group and potential women of interest that you ARE important. What seeking external validation shouldn't be is letting your ego inflate from compliments or, even worse, go fishing for compliments. Your confidence shouldn't come from other people approving of you, other people approving of you should merely be a check so you know your inner confidence is coming out.

The use of crude language doesn't lend well to trying to demand respect from the rest of reddit. From what I've read, there's little hiding contempt for "sluts" or, it seems, for most women. From what I've read, women in this community are seen far more as objects than people to be treated fairly. Entertain the whole group, with a focus on the girl you're interested in. That means give her the most eye contact and any appropriate touching while trying to engage everyone about equally verbally. If done well, there's a good chance she'll make an excuse to get isolated with you.

No, you really don't need some bigger reason. She seems into you, that's enough for a number. You don't even have to say more than, "Can I get your phone number?" and she will most likely say yes. This interaction is not nearly as complicated as you think it is. If you feel like you need to say more, just mention that you'd like to get to know her outside of the context of a gym.

Ask her out on a real date. You are always risking a friendship in a sense, but most of the time you really aren't. I've had awkward no's from several girls and we were still friends after. You're in a relationship - you don't need to be going full on pick up on her 24/7. She likes what you've done, if you just call her a few times over that period you'll be fine. Enough to remind her you care, not so much that she thinks you're clingy as hell.

I don't know what "blanking out" means, but if it means your mind is totally blank, then that's right. When you're not thinking, just start moving in the direction you need to go. It's starting the interaction that's really the hardest part, in most cases, but once you get the ball rolling it isn't that bad. As for the "need a friend" thing, no, you don't. You just need the girl you're going to kiss there. Have her count down, and then go in for it. Works in a similar way to saying "I'm going to…

Did you read that men are more attractive when they simply don't smile, or when they're making a "concentrated face"? It seems to me that girls are very attracted to both smiling men and men with very concentrated faces. Go look through /r/ladyboners and see what faces the men are making in those pictures, it'll give you a good idea of what "looks" women find attractive. I'll give you a hint: it's mostly serious concentrated face or smiles.

I think if you feel like you have to be cold or apathetic, you're not reading these posts right or you aren't reading the right posts. In attracting a girl, I try to never come off as cold. I realize that something like "outcome independence" may sound like indifference, but it's merely allowing yourself to have fun no matter what happens. It's not letting yourself get down because you didn't hook up with the cutest girl at the party. My most successful method in attracting girls is simple: talk…

Sounds like you have a mental barrier to overcome. I'd like to share few different techniques I've used to overcome mental barriers, hopefully one will help you. One thing that might help is pulling her into you for a kiss, instead of going to her or meeting her half way. This way you don't have to think of it as "going in for the kiss". To approach girls, I used to think about something completely unrelated to approaching, and then when I was immersed in that other thought I would turn and walk…

Either lots of context-appropriate touching or your words. Tell her you think she's cute/pretty.

She offered to reschedule, so yes. Then when we did sit down, we had a great conversation.

Or she's legitimately busy. Had a girl flake on me twice before we had a coffee date because of work and other scheduling conflicts (working two full time jobs, plus a full time student).

Not asking her on a date puts you in the friendzone. Treating her like a friend builds attraction because I'm being outcome independent, fun, and I can tease her like I would any other friend.

Number 7, "she doesn't date you". So perfect. I've seen it so many times in college happening to all sorts of people.

I've noticed when I do a coffee date it's usually in the afternoon and we pay for ourselves. It's kind of a stepping stone date, because if that goes well you can do a lot more with subsequent dates.

I try to not talk about sexual things, and let escalating touch do that part of the flirting for me. I use my words to make her laugh and smile, and I've noticed the more people talk about sexual things around girls they're trying to get with the more off put these girls are.

People here think dinner is bad because you can't kino, and if you're not kino-ing 100% of the time you're wrong. I think that's bullshit, I've had some great first dates going to dinner. Go somewhere in an open air mall (indoor mall is ok, too, especially if it gets really cold where you're from) where the focus can be on walking and nothing is as loud as a shitty night club. You can talk just find over dinner as long as you remember to chew and speak separately. Have some gum in your pocket fo…

What hurdle is that? Hugging a girl? You're not miserable because you haven't had experience with the opposite gender, you're miserable because you think you should have by now. But your life is different from everyone else's, and you are different from everyone else. If you don't rank yourself against other people, you'll start to realize how you can make yourself happy. I hated myself in middle school for not having a girlfriend, because it seemed like everyone else had one and I was the only …

You bring it to the table if you start the interaction. She may decide something you say is interesting and move forward, but the focus is on you. The vibes you're looking for are that she's still talking to you. If you want to connect emotionally, find topics that matter to you and her. Common ground is your friend, and if you both know a decent amount about the same thing, you can talk about that even if it isn't deeply philosophical and still get a great connection. If you don't know what to …

As far as lighthearted openers; Yes. Yes. Yes. Observations are opportunities. She's wearing a Zelda shirt? Talk to her about it. Scenario you're in: I once opened on a girl by helping her remove toilet paper from her shoe with mine, and then making some dumb joke about how I "got her back". It worked. Oh, something sounds cheesy in your head? That's fine, actually. There are definitely girls who like something sounding a little cheesy, or sometimes even really cheesy. It won't make them uncomfo…

I think this post is great, except the word entitlement. Google defines entitlement as: the fact of having a right to something. But what you're describing is not the same, I think, because what you describe is earned. It may just be arguing semantics, but I don't think something earned should give you entitlement, it should really be the opposite. From earning, you realize that you don't "deserve" anything, because if you just deserved it you wouldn't work for it.

I hate to break it to you, but none of those things demonstrate high value. The GPA shows that you can work hard, as does your job, but your frat means nothing. Being high value isn't about what you have to offer yourself, it's what you have to offer others. If people want to be around you because you add value to their lives, then you're high value. Inner game doesn't just turn into outer game, you have to work on both. There are plenty of smart, successful people out there and they can't get w…

The same way you attract any woman: be interesting. I was sitting with two guy friends in my college's dining commons last year, and a very quiet girl sat at the far end of our 8 person table. I drew her into our conversation, and connected to her with movie references that only the two of us got. She felt more comfortable with me and my friends and was a real part of our conversation for that meal. My friend tried to get her number, but she was seeing someone. Point is, though, even with a boyf…

Then realize this: No one is actually watching you. You know when they ARE going to watch you? If you drop a stack of dishes in a restaurant. Short of drawing attention to yourself on that scale, people in your background really aren't paying attention to what you're doing or saying, and if they are, they will likely forget about you within minutes.

but this being a public bus, I couldn't do it, simply because it's not something people do. Wrong. It's not something YOU do. Don't be concerned with what limits other people and placing those limits on yourself.

There's a reason people go to bars and parties to meet girls: alcohol helps get rid of AA, and for a lot of women, opens them up to actually flirting. So I wouldn't even say using drugs to get rid of AA is "cheating".
