I searched for "swing" and "second" shifts, but got old information. I've looked elsewhere for ideas and haven't found much. When you're inexperienced with dating like I am, this only complicated things even more than they already are.

Let's say I work from 1pm to 9:30-11:30pm M-F. My workplace is male dominated, but the work pays well and is a great place to develop my career. I'm 25, have only been on 6 dates, and if it at all matters, remain a virgin. I am currently living with my parents in a suburban neighborhood.

Next month, I'll be living in my first apartment in a busy neighborhood with bars, cafes, restaurants, a huge park and a college with 10,000 students nearby. The city itself has about 260,000 residents, and the metro area has 1.1 million. Being in proximity to kinds of elements should make meeting women easier, and has been a priority to me since before the pandemic.

But I just realized that even though I make 10% more than what I would make on the 1st shift, this shift I'm working will block off anything social that happens during "normal" hours.

I've seen people recommend finding nurses to date. How the hell do I find these people? We have a medical campus here, but it's not like i can just hang out outside the hospital at midnight trying to "night game", literally. There are too many bars in the city to know which ones attract who.

The other option is to date college students. I'll probably try this as it's the easiest to do, but it's not the most stable. Then again, with the problems people have with dating, what's considered stable?
