From an "innate" perspective, yes. Game is designed to give people a boost in their seduction skills; people can use it to become the best person they are capable of being.

Women want alpha males and alpha males want the best women. Game benefits beta males at the expense of alpha males: it increases the number of males that appear alpha while the number of desirable women remains unchanged.

Game can benefit women because it creates more desirable men, but it can also frustrate women because it means they are sleeping with men who could be likely to regress later, and from a genetic point of view they might not be getting the alpha sperm they are subconsciously seeking.

TL;DR: Yes, and alpha males are butthurt as a result.

...uh, duh. An established alpha doesn't need sed to pick up chicks, they know what they're doing. Perhaps they could refine their techniques, but it's not necessary. I feel like much of the seddit community (and sed in general) boils down to otherwise nice guys wondering where the fuck they're going wrong. So, yeah, calling yourself a PUA is colossally beta. Calling yourself alpha is pretty beta. But taking the advice from here isn't beta- a steadfast beta would think "I don't need this, someday a girl will notice how nice I am, blah blah blah". Taking the advice from here shows that, at the very least, the person is willing to accept that what they were doing wasn't working, and that it was wrong. A true beta would go through all of this, think people here were "players", and keep being a white knight for all his girl friends, whether they want him to or not.

The idea that sed is all about "pick[ing] up girls" is wrong. It's not about changing who you are to "convince" girls you're attractive. It's about changing how you present yourself to society so you stop coming off as a socially crippled basement dweller (or your insult of choice, if you don't like that one) and start showing who you can be when you aren't under the impression that being "nice" means letting everyone else talk over you, or letting other guys hit on women because "they're just playing her, eventually she'll notice me here, in a corner, staring at my drink".

TL;DR It's beta to say you're a PUA/alpha, and it's beta to use Sed just to pick up chicks. It's very un-beta to use it to change how you present your established self to society.
