It doesn't really matter what you say, just try to make it funny and ORIGINAL, I'm sure she's heard all the pathetic pickup attempts before. Make her laugh a little bit, and then ask her out.

Leave your art supplies out, catch her afterwards and see if she wants to grab coffee after class. Name the spot and you can cleanup your supplies after she says yes.

Personally, I wouldn't ask during a break since she could feel pressure that she has to spent the next hour modeling for you and knowing that she might feel awkward. After she is done and not having to worry about her job, try it out.

I'm sure she has had art students hit on her before, I wouldn't worry about it!

Ask her if she wants to see the drawings you made of her. Now this presumes that you have actual drawing talent and are capable of producing a pleasant, beautiful drawing of her. If she really likes a pic, give it to her.. but with strings attached, you go to coffee.

But realize that nude models in art school are constantly doing this naked class thing. They surely get hit on by dozens of idiots. I would especially try to avoid interacting with her during class breaks where she's probably wearing a robe and still feeling naked and vulnerable. Catch her on the way out, clothed.

Edit: I have a BFA degree in drawing & painting, and I've hit on nude models. But never in the classroom setting.

Easiest conversation I started began with a moral question about the girl being trapped in a candy store.

It went something like this:

"Let me ask you something. I heard this really weird question the other day in an ethics class. Let's say you wake up one day in a candy store. You notice pretty quickly that all the doors are locked, and you're stuck with one other person that you don't know. During a brief search, you find one cashier who will not talk to you, but will accept your money, and a note on the floor that reads 'one door will become unlocked when you buy one kind of candy. And only one person can open the door. The door will be closed and locked forever after. All candy in the store costs exactly one dollar.'

So, you search your pockets and discover that you only have fifty cents. It's pretty clear that the other person probably only has fifty cents as well. So the question for you is: what do you do?"

Admittedly, this kind of question really only works on someone you already know (or are pretty sure) is inclined towards talking to you from the get-go. There's a high chance of locking that person in, however, because they have to think about an answer for at least for a few seconds before coming to a conclusion, and so there's some level of investment already taking place.

But the scenario already answers a few questions in her mind. You don't just want sex, you're not dumb, you think about moral issues (most girls like that kind of thing), and you potentially care about her input. When I pose this question, sometimes I just get a chuckle or a "you're silly" kind of response. There are also times when they don't have time for the question. That shit just happens. That's life. Other times, I get a genuine answer. At which point, I'll potentially discover what kind of candy the girl likes (she probably won't choose candy she dislikes - and can bring her some the next time I see her), and can proceed to neg her a bit on her choice (even if I also liked that kind of candy). Moreover, I can discover whether or not she's a selfish asshole who would abandon strangers to their doom, instead of cooperating with others to mutual benefit.

Most importantly, it's an easy conversation starter. You can then talk about your favorite candy, or how great her answer was. And then tell her a story about how you went to a fair when you were a kid and smuggled ten Snickers bars home in your underwear, after stealing them. You can call yourself a bad boy and "denounce and rebuke yourself". But note that it had to be done for the good of your psychic health - sometimes you just have to be bad to be right.

Then you can talk about what would really get you going at the moment: some (insert food here) would be great and ask her if she's hungry. If she's not and rejects your tacit invitation, you are free to tell her how horrible a person she is for rejecting food, or good company and then tell her outright that you're going to invite her again in the future.

And if you do get her to lunch, and you feel awkward about talking, tell her how great it is to sometimes just be around people you can be quiet with, and just enjoy their presence. Silence is a lost art, after all - and it can be a serene and surreal thing to do at times (blah blah blah). It goes on and on with those kind of random barbs, and "stories" and what have you.

I'm not good at drawing shit so I've never been in that situation (you lucky prick). I'd just chat her up like she's no different than any other girl, tease her about some shit- probably wouldn't tease her about the whole nudity thing though- ask about the usual stuff (like where she lives and what her number is), then invite her somewhere.
