I've worked in different environments from super serious finance roles to "corporate daycare" roles where everyone hooks up and its such an unserious work environment.

When I worked at the the "corporate daycare" role, I lived with my gf so I never bothered to hit on women there I'd just flirt for fun at happy hours and pull the I have a gf. I notice girls with bfs would flirt for fun as well. Lot of poeple flirt cuz they're bored

Anyways at my new serious finance role our HR and office manager who's early 20s feels like she crosses the line on being friendly vs flirty.

She routinely extends convos, is super engaged, always stops to chat in hallway to the point where my coworkers have def noticed. I notice when we tlak she'll play with hair, fidget and curl legs act super interested in what I have even if it's boring to say and tease jokes at my expense. She's also made subtle hints at being single (we were talking about bad dates and I told her I'll jsut leave bad dates if they suck and dont care and she said she needs to do that) and told me she's going to Miami with the girls a few weeks ago (she was gone last week). We talked about valentines days and I asked if she was doing something and she didn't ask me back (either she's low interest or doesn't want to hear I have a gf). We also went to same college.

Anyways whats poeples thoughts on coworker friendliness vs attraction?

And for the record my job is way too serious for me to ever pursue anything if it's even there. I'm just curious how you guys venture into dating coworkers.
