When I was starting in pickup this was a frequently cited principle. I stuck to it. I still stick to it.

But I see posts here all the time asking about how to game on text, and claiming they're having issues gaming via text.

Are these rookies ? Or is there a way to game over text ?

To me (and the sources that worked for me ) game is all about pathos, emotion, building intimacy and attraction. It involves body language and tone of voice and reading your audience.

All of those things are hard or impossible over text.

I've always had luck with phone calls, video calls, and with scheduling in person dates asap.

In person is the only way to truly escalate things anyways. So why waste time on interactions that have no "end game"?

To me making things short and sweet is vital. Dont waste your own time. Escalate, or move on to someone you can escalate with. Play the numbers game

Am I missing something? Or are all these " text gamers" the ones off base ?
