I open with a specific callback to a funny moment from the conversation. Sometimes I do it shortly after ending the interaction, sometimes the day after. I usually get a fairly warm response in either case fairly quickly.

I then respond, matching energy at a similar response time. Often, after that first exchange, it is a little bit harder to get a response back to set up a date. Sometimes a funny 'double text' 1 or 2 days after gets the conversation going, or I suggest speaking on the phone, or just call them out of the blue, but it is a bit draining, especially when they seem to respond positively to that first message.

Should I be waiting maybe 1-2 days after that initial response? To be less available?

Seeing as I am meeting all of these women in person, should I just straight-up, first message, invite them out or suggest a time to speak on the phone to plan a date?

I usually ask 1 question to keep the ball rolling after the first exchange - should I just invite them out on a specific day?

What texting habits helped you convert to more dates?

Context: In the vast majority of these cases, I have not made it beyond light touch. Daygame, networking events, social events before 9pm.
