We are in our twenties. We've been hooking up for a few weeks now, staying at each other's places. She's a coworker. And she's leaving the country in a month for 10 months. We have everything in common and are on the same wavelength, we enjoy doing drugs together. Out sex is extremely passionate with embracing, hand holding, etc. She definitely likes me a lot.

Over thanksgiving we've been texting. She takes a long time to reply. Anywhere from an hour to six hours. We've probably sent 6 texts each over the last few days, but they've been long conversations where we each write a paragraph or two. Friday night she asked how my day went and I described and then wished her a goodnight. She didn't reply back until last night, she apologized for not responding. Wrote another paragraph in response to what we were talking about then told me she hopes I'm having a good time with my family :)

So I texted her back today around 1pm with a joke in reference to what we were discussing, and saying I've been having a good time, etc. also sent her pic of my family pets (we were talking about that too). No response all day. I'm totally chill on the outside but inside all I think about was, I should have left her hanging, or something but I just respond and it's always in her court. I never send two texts in a row and I don't reply back immediately but I just always feel uneasy and anxious when I'm texting, like am I going to ruin this.

Actually, why am I freaking out? I know she likes me, maybe she just didn't think of anything to respond with, or felt like the convo was over. I need to learn not to jump to the worst conclusion every time something like this happens.

Any advice?
