You should not be trying to take the attention of the girls away from the guys, but instead you should be having enough value that they give you their attention willingly. Try opening the guys they're flocking to and becoming bros with them! It raises their value and your value, mutually beneficial relationship.

If those guys are your 'good' friends, they'll help you out by introducing you. When you get introduced by someone, your value goes up ten fold. I winged a lot of my friends like this. One of them is married to the woman I introduced (oops... haha)

Stand side by side to the guys as a group and stand your ground. If there aren't enough girls in the group, tell your bros you'll be around and open up another set. Your bros get an easy one, and you get some. It's that simple.

If it's some random guys, you should've opened the guys before the girls reached them. Cheerleader effect also applies to guys. Surround yourself with good looking guys, you'll look like one of them.

I think girls flock to guys at the first moment just because they find someone attractive.. What you should do (if you're not one of those guys) is make yourself interesting. Give the girl a compliment, say something funny, or just show some interest in her.. This will make the girl shift her interest.

Eh, I think you are over-exaggerating a bit, but there is a reason for this called "Pre-Selection". Now women want the men who are wanted by other women. So if a guy is surrounded by women, other women will see him and be curious as to who he is. An extreme example of this is what you have described above. A man who has Pre-selection is in much better shape than a man who doesn't, and women are more likely to approach a man with solid Pre-selection as opposed to a man hanging around a group of guys.

One way to counteract this is to approach women early and often to create an entourage. If you build your Pre-selection early, the group will move to you instead of you having to flock to the group. Ahhhh, social game at its finest.

Girls always flock to a few guys (2-3), other guys try to pick up girls, girls completely ignore guys that aren't one of the selected few, guys know this is exactly what's happpening and can't do anything about it

What you're noting is that a few guys (who know how to pick up on girls) are the ones getting most of the attention. And the others who don't know what they're doing, shoot themselves in the feet trying to overcompensate for a lack of inner game.

What do I do to change this
