It's been a while since I've read any material, so I'll answer in my own way.

Pushing and pulling can be part of pretty much everything you do. You can follow a "pull" with a "push," or you can even do em both simultaneously.

Pull: Reward with eye contact. Push: Look away (not out of nervousness).

Pull: Talk. Push: Leaning away (or otherwise acting disinterested somehow) while you talk.

Pull: Give a compliment or express genuine interest in a topic/person/conversation. Push: Tease them afterward/Say something that hints at disinterest.

Pull: Talk. Push: Leave afterward, like it's not a big deal (and then either come back or let them seek you out).

Pull: Kino/kissing/fucking. Push: Stop kinoing/kissing/fucking. Make them want it more.

[Your suggestion of statement-question-statement makes sense too, depending on the statements/questions.]

Pull: Pull her towards you. Push: Push her away.

Pull: Express a feeling of connection. Push: Follow it up with a disqualifier.

Pull: Showing interest in some way. Push: Showing disinterest in some way.

Pulling is essentially anything that shows you want to take it further, and pushing is anything that shows you don't want to take it further. The pull is basically what every chump does- but then they don't push at all. The push is supposed to make her qualify herself, or make her want you, or make her horny. That's my take on it.

So the push-pull is a complicated maneuver. I am trying kinda hard to not sound pretentious but it takes practice and intuition. As frogma, says, it is about showing interest and then taking it away. However, the pull is much more important than the push. Establish an interest and an attraction, then pull away and make her be the one that pursues the interaction. It has little to do with the intervals through which you intersperse your questions & statements. It has everything to do with establishing an interaction and then letting her know that although she is having a good time... she must offer something extra in order to keep you interested. The pull is you showing your interest, the push is your statement to her that you have other things to do and she must demonstrate value to keep your attention. Pull/Push boils down to your interest in her versus her interest in you. Always ensure that she has equal or more interest in you as you do in her. It will keep you from appearing desperate and it will show her that you enjoy her company but do not require it. Never be afraid to "fake eject". IMHO, this maneuver works because it demonstrates your willingness to leave the interaction and tests her willingness to maintain it. If you are winning in the conversation, her effort to keep you around speaks volumes to her inherent level of attraction and her motivation to keep you in her presence. Once you have her acting on her own desire to keep you around, the hard part is already accomplished. Cheers

pull her with a compliment, push her with an exception

or When she tries to hold your hand, pull it away and say "Hey did I say you could hold my hand!?" then grab hers and hold it. push by denying her, then immediately pull by doing the same thing you were just denying her. :)

frogma's response is one of the best I've seen. Aside from that though, I've also struggled a bit with the Push Pull thing. If you think about your previous conquests, however, I'm sure you can find a few instances in which you've unintentionally used this technique, probably to great effect (I can.)

Looking for PUA advice on google is basically a clusterfuck of ads, ads, ads, and a lot of bad free advice from Guidos. I've just found Fast Seduction 101 Wiki, so I can't attest to it as a site, but their article on Push Pull has one choice line that may help you:

"Push/pull can be described simply through the following phrase: 'I like you…I don’t like you…Wait, I think I like you….Nahh, I don’t like you….Actually, now that I think about it, I like you! Well…I’m not sure…'"

The whole article is actually pretty good, now that I'm looking through it...
