I'm very much in the beginning stages of turning my personal life around on seddit, and as such, worry too much still. Backstory: I met a girl on Tinder, thought she was cute, and managed to get her to go on a date with me. This was cool, because I'd never been on a Tinder date before. What sucked was that her 6 pictures all didn't show that she was a bit larger than I'm attracted to (just personal preference). So, after meeting her and realizing what's happened, I decided to go along with it anyway, but just not give off signals that I'm attracted to her. Turned pretty fun, she showed me around a town I've never been to before, and we said goodnight after and left.

What I'm concerned with is whether I should have tried to escalate things farther, even if we both knew it would be a one time thing? I want to get better at picking up women, but I couldn't bring myself to lead this poor girl on. Should I just accept the victory of having the date in the first place?
