This seems too try-hard. This feels like something a horny sociopath would be doing, whose only objective is to get laid and nothing else. I would think each person is unique and requires a different approach.

This is all very nice, but all of your points except for the last one are of no practical value to 80% or men. The fact is there are only two rules to being successful on dating apps:

Be attractive.
Don't be unattractive.

If you don't follow rules 1 & 2, then your first nine points don't matter. Women don't want articulate, thoughtful and witty profiles or messages from guys they are not attracted to. They would much rather read "hi" from a guy who's hot. That sounds harsh, but it's true.

Having said that, thanks for the pointers. They may be helpful to guys who are borderline attractive.

I disagree with this one. some girls take a little more time to give out their numbers than others. you shouldn't tell guys a number like this, because some will think they are failing if they get numbers this fast.

this isn't true, just means she has some interest.

There is some great value in this post, (screening, knowing your goal, and not wasting time) but some of these aren't even mistakes. This post comes off as you being too pushy. I've had close to 500 total matches from tinder over the years and I can tell you that every girl is different from their approach to online dating. I've had instant dates I've had to wait 2 months for a date. Some girls only want to give out their snapchat or Instagram.

I love todd's value and trust model. To sum it up for a girl to sleep with you have a certain level of trust and see value with you. With tinder is hard to build trust when it's not in person. Some will want to sleep with you day 1 and some girls take a little more time, either they don't trust you or doesn't want to make herself seem easy. you're telling guys if doesn't want to meet up after day 3 then give up when she could be willing to give out on day 4.

With tinder, you just have to find out what works for you and what doesn't. You have to remember it's not real life. The same girls that don't match with you on tinder would light up if you approached them in person.

Most importantly focus on the girls showing interest and not the ones that take forever to reply or are boring af.

Have confidence in yourself. Believe me, I was looking through guys tinder yesterday with a woman I had over and most of them are losing up front.

If you get an attractive match: that’s a win come with funny confidence in your first message not something beta like “ I know you probably get a lot of messages... “

If she messages back: (it’s a numbers game, accept this) ask her to hang out within a few messages. Getting that message back is still a win.

On the hangout: be confident. Believe me her inbox is full. All girls have 99+ tinder likes within an hour of creating their accounts even unattractive ones because dudes at the end of the day just want something. Have your place ready, dress nice and make a move. This is no time for nervousness. You have to make a move or she’ll move on.

Tbh I don't know that I 100% agree with this. I've had a ton of success on tinder and I would never ask for a number within 4 messages. I always build a bit of rapport first and try to get a number/snap probably closer to 10-20 messages, after I've already had time to tease her, demonstrate value, and build some comfort/rapport. That makes it easy once I get the number/snap to convince her to meet up.

I'm not incredibly good looking (although I am very athletic and pretty cut) but I think the importance of that is overrated. Some % of these girls are gonna think you're hot either way, no matter what you look like. It's a numbers game, swipe a lot, message a lot, use boosts and tinder plus.

In my experience, most guys who have tinder issues it's usually because of:

Bad pictures. All selfies, nothing that demonstrates value. You should have 1 selfie max. Have pictures taken by other people that show you having friends, engaging in hobbies or activities, looking your best (dressed up, show off your car/nice clothes) and maybe some pictures with attractive women who are your friends (NOT YOUR EX). The pictures should show that you are a normal guy with friends and hobbies, who women like. They should demonstrate that you're successful. If you have 5 blurry mirror selfies that doesn't show anything good about you.
Needy or long bios: if you want to go on match or eharmony then go for it. This is tinder. Keep it casual, light, and fun. Nothing needy, nothing about being lonely. Aim to make her laugh. If you can also give a few snippets of info then that's a plus. A good bio can also be a conversation starter. If you want to write a longer bio then go for it but it shouldn't be boring or needy. They don't want to read your life story.
Needy messages: messages should be fun. Teasing is good, jokes are good. Come up with a funny story or some good puns. No job interview stuff. Don't pretend to have the same interests as her. The point is to show her you are funny, cool, and confident.
