Dude, you have 800 matches and not a single date!? As someone with only 40 matches, but who went on multiple tinder dates I find this hard to believe.

This is the script I usually follow:

give the girl a compliment on one of her photo's in a jokingly way.
I invite them to go surfing with me, which is kinda silly, since it is 10 degrees outside. I also do this in a joking way, like telling them to put their bikini on in the middle of the winter.
Most of the girls will get the joke and say it is too cold to go surfing. After that i 'll say something like, "well instead we could go for a drink in the city." Most preferably I plan this within the next few days.
After that it is only logistics

All of this takes maybe 5 to 6 messages. So what my advice for you would be is to take an activity you like to do and invite a girl to come and do it with you. It would be best if you are doing this activity on one of your photos. If they decline you simply invite them for a drink.

At last I would like to mention that a lot of girls are using tinder just for validation. Those are the girls who never respond to your texts. For me, I noticed that once a girl responded to my initial text I have about a 50% chance of going on a date with her.
