So I feel as though lots of interactions kind of 'stall'.

I think this happens because I never feel as though the girl is actually attracted enough, and so it feels very strange to start to try to get very physical, or go for the kiss or whatever.

Like, i'll open, we'll banter back and forth, i'll maybe do some minor kino (touch on arm etc), build some comfort and at some point I'll tell her that she's cute or whatever (statement of intent)

Now, on a rare occasion, she'll kind of reciprocate my statement of intent (''thanks, you're hot too'' or whatever) and when that happens, I know I can go for the kiss fairly safely and it all works out nicely.

However, this obviously rarely happens. Usually, even after I've made it clear I want her, she's not given me anything back, and I start to wonder what 'step' I need to take next

I almost get the urge to kind of say ''So, do you like me?!!'' but I know that's be needy and kind of awkward!

I imagine that most will tell me I simply need to grow some balls and physically escalate until she stops me, but I just feel as though there may be a more efficient and smoother way.

Almost a way to kind of bait her into showing her hand?! I dunno.

When I watch infields or even think about times I've had one-night-stands, there's always 'moments'/milestones that MOVE the interaction into a new direction where everything changes, but a lot of the time, this is based on something the girl does as opposed to something you do

One time I remember that 'moment' being when a girl started making sexual references and sexualised the conversation showing me that I likely had a shot with her.

Another time the girl said something like ''YOu are looking at me like you want to bang me'' after I was giving her laser eye contact during a conversation.

Another time she seemed to melt after I made a statement of intent ''You're so cute'' kind of thing and got all giggly and started flirting much more than before

Another time, SHE was just very kino heavy and so I knew to start ramping up the kino on my end.

I dunno, I just feel as though i'm missing a trick.
