Hey seddit, a quick bit about me 18, not much experience with women, I have only ever gotten to 3rd base. I don't really go out much but I have quite a few friends, but never really go out to clubs and stuff with them. I have been reading up on pua after I stumbled across mysterys pick up artist tv show. So I sort of understand the basics.

Ok so the night out, I invited a friend but he couldn't make it so I went alone. I wore a plain white shirt (planning on getting a tailored one, I have a muscular chest and narrower waist so a tailored one would make me look a lot better), a nice pair black cotton trousers, nice belt and black shoes.

I started out the night early, went out at 9 (just after the england game finished), everything was a ghost town, I went into a club/pub kind of thing and there was a 5 set of women in sexy football kit. I ran the women masturbate opener, it failed miserably, I approached directly, said it and I had to lean in and repeat it because the music was too loud. One of the group kept talking to me and I made a joke about how a certain member of the set must be a bit slow as it took her a while to get the joke, I asked how they all knew each other and they responded music and dance unsure what to respond to that I said, oh cool, then the conversation sort of failed and they all turned back to their phones.

I then later on approached another 2 set at the bar, I did do it over the shoulder however the opener didn't work well at all, they kind of laughed, and the nearest one continued talking to me, but it didn't really go anywhere I said nice meeting you and left the place (it was a ghost town they were about the only women there)

As I was walking around I approached a 2 set and said, hey do you know where everyone is its a ghost town, they said huh, I replied all the clubs are empty, they asked what do you mean everyone, weres the party at you know, They replied it was early and no one would be around, I asked where they were heading they said mcdonalds, I said oh okay nice meeting you and carried on.

(1st lesson learned: When and Where is important, it was too early, after the england game and a cold wet night in kingston)

As I was walking around I saw a 3 set sitting down by the river, one of them was crying their eyes out, I approached them, walked beside them and over the shoulder, with the I need a female opinion opener, I based it on my buddy not being able to come out because it was his and his girlfriends 8 month anniversary and asked what they thought of it. Two of them responded, when they responded I turned to face them, they then asked me where I was going to be heading I responded and they recommended another club so I said thanks sounds good, nice meeting you.

I then headed over to this club, the biggest one, I then waited in line, there was a 3 set, 1 gay guy and 2 chicks behind me but I didn't open them even though I had loads of time and plenty of opportunity to.

So I get into the club and wander around for a bit and try to find my way around, this place is massive, there are like 5 different sections and for the first half of the night I only find out there is 2, a disco kind of bit then a really loud dance section. During this part it was quite difficult to approach as you would need to be shouting to be heard. However I did approach 2 sets as I was walking around this section ran the women shower opener both failed mainly because they couldn't hear.

Then as I was walking back through the disco part this fat chick with a camera took a photo of me then another one I slowed down and started posing and playing around, I then managed to get the camera and take a couple of photos of her and then took one of both of us, however there was a bar kind of thing separating us so I would have to walk through about 20 people and come around to be able to talk to her, she turned around to her friends and I left it at that.

I then went into the dancing/club section, all I can say is that it was a waste of an hour right there, I couldn't approach anyone, you couldn't even hear your own voice. However as I was on the dance floor I did bump into the 3 set earlier that had the crier in, because we were on the dance floor it pretty much resulted in them saying hi and nice seeing you.

(2nd lesson learned: Stay away from the dance floor, its too loud and people are to busy dancing making approaches difficult)

I then left the dancing section and went back to the disco and I saw a 2 set standing by the windows looking up at the lights I approached looking out the window and over the shoulder said, what's so interesting about those lights then, they said oh nothing and sort of laughed, I said you must be having a really good night then. They sort of smiled and turned away from me, noticing this I said nice meeting you and left.

I then found a quieter section of the place, it just had quite ambient music playing I came in sat down opened my phone, got my bearings then approached the 2 set to my right(it was a 2 set with a third person sitting about a meter away), I walked in front and opened over the shoulder, using the female opinion of my friend not coming out with me, I can't remember what they replied, but I ended up saying something about its because his girlfriend doesn't like me I'm too much of a party animal, made dance imitation and I got a laugh, I said nice meeting you and left, although I could have carried on I had no idea what to move forward with.

I then left this section it was pretty small and moved across to the bar. This was quite and empty a couple of groups spread around the room. First thing I get approached by a girl and a guy she's flirting with me and the guys like she's drunk and my girlfriend, not wanting any issues I was like we have no problem man, the girl then laughed, I guess it was some kind of bet about her being able to get any guy.

I then go sit down open my phone and scout the room, I see a two set by the bar, I head up to the bar and open over the shoulder with the opinion, opener, they were like it seems a bit over the top, they then asked how old they were and I said both 18, we then had a little conversation about how its because they are both young, one of them casually mentions they are 22 and she was a police officer, I can't come up with anything to say and so I say thanks for that, nice meeting you.

I then approached another 2 set, ran the same opener and it went well, I said yeah by buddy was with me but had to leave, they asked if I was all on my own, I said yeah, and I sat down in their chair, they then said they were leaving and if I wanted to go with them I was welcome, we sort of congregated at a table, we were waiting for someone, I ask how they all know each other, make a couple of jokes about them being drunk and the light weights, then some guys come over who they now, I kind of get blocked out of the conversation, as I don't know them, looking back I could have gone with why don't you introduce me to your friend that would be the polite thing to do. I say I'm gonna leave as they are pretty much hanging around having their own conversation I say nice meeting you and leave.

I thought it was an alright first night, I approached around 10 sets. I found the female opinion opener works well, and my approaches improved over the night, I am struggling of what to do after the opener how to move forward from that.

TL;DR: First night out, openers improved, however struggling to get past openers.
