Hey, I found this sub a few days ago and I've seen a lot of valuable experiences and advice, so I wanted to share my own.

For context I'm 23, a black male, 6'3 and a little on the chubby side. I was on the train was on the train today and I sat next to a woman who I waited at the stop with. I sat next to her and debated if I should talk to her.

She was kind of my type but I decided there's no reason to talk to her. Then I remembered yesterday there was a woman I really wanted to talk to but I chickened out. I also realized that I need more practice with speaking to women so I went for it.

I tried to figure out what to talk to her about, I saw she had nice skin and knowing women are serious about skincare I asked her about hers. I asked what skincare routine she used bc her skin looked nice. She seemed happy I complimented her and she began telling me her routine and the products she uses, I asked her a few more questions and we kept conversing.

I eventually had to get off so I said my goodbyes.

I'd say to the men out there, compliment their skin and ask what products they use, actually seem interested and don't just ask and look bored. I genuinely was interested in what her process was because I've been trying to get smooth skin as well.

I also went on a cruise last summer and it went really well for me, I'll tell that story in another post.
