Long story short I had a traumatic breakup five years ago and lost pretty much all my mojo and interest in dating. I did a whole hell of a lot of self-work and am finally able to say that I am happy with myself again. Started dating again casually with some success.

I recently met a girl who I am very interested in through work and through some events she ends up texting me first.

I want to ask her to an improv show this Friday but I am sort of panicking about asking her out. Needy I know.

Should I ask today? Six days before the show? Do I wait? I don’t want to send junk texts just for her attention, but it’s already been a full day since our small conversation.
