I realized this the other day when my buddy was complaining about no girls talking to him at parties because he is too 'laid-back'. It made me realize that he is just boring.

When you're laid-back you still have fun and bring value to the group regardless of the activity, place, or mood of others around you. When your boring, you don't care the activity, place or mood of others, but you don't bring any value to the group. People will see this even though you may not.
