Hey :)
I talked to a girl today. That should be a win for me but I keep putting myself down because I "didn't do it right". I approached her (I even remembered to smile) and asked about the climbing shoes on her backpack, where she is going to climb, blabla, smalltalk, ok, have fun, bye. 1min conversation, she was super friendly and probably open for more.
Now instead of feeling good that I approached I judge myself for not being man to woman, for ejecting as soon as I could and everything else that I did "wrong".
With everything else I embrace the progress. Lifting weights, martial arts, music, whatever, I know it takes time and I won't be good from the start and I feel fine about it. But with pick up it somehow seems I expect myself to be a super-pua from the start. Why is that and how can I learn to pat myself on the back for the small, necessary steps I take?
Thanks for your input.
