I use to live in the city. Now I live in Arkansas. The back of my neck got a little red, I listen to country music, and I know how to two-step dance better than the top 5% of the population who knows two-step.

Case and point: I dance with 15-25 girls a night. Bishes love it.

Martial arts, mainly self defense. It's a superb thing to do the first time you bring her to your home. You can take it in many directions but my favorite is choking. It's really easy to escalate and there's a lot of kino. Plus she might actually like it. So you pretty much kill three birds with one stone.

Comedy improv.

It teaches:

Presence
Listening
How to follow threads in a conversation
Escalating a situation and make things more fun
How to work with what you're given and make the best of it
Quick thinking
How to recover from a bad situation
Speaking in front of a lot of people
Humour (obviously)
Authenticity (not so obviously)

Improv teaches you to lower the bar for what comes out of your mouth and know that a lot of what you say is probably going to be fine anyway. So many guys who get stifled and can't talk to girls, can't even open a set, they're in they're heads trying to think of the "perfect line" to impress everyone, improv teaches you to let go of the need for things to be "good", to stop being a control freak and having to have everything go perfectly.

You'd also think that comedy improv would be about putting on a character, when its more about letting the audience connect with you and letting things come out without filtering them, because if you stop to filter yourself the moment might pass and you'll fuck up the scene more than if you'd just said something.

It also gets you out of your head, away from the logical headspace that kills conversation and game.

My hobbies and thoughts:

Guns: Women don't give a shit. A big negative for some women.
Cars: Women don't give a shit, but less of a chance of literally pushing women away.
Drums: Women love to hear that you play an instrument and it's a good way to transition the conversation to music.

In general I've found it easier to talk about life and experiences than it is to talk about hobbies. Women never want to talk about their hobbies at the risk of sounding weird, so they all just tell you Netflix is their hobby. Basically it's rarely a road worth traveling down.

IMO attending events, talks and classes are more helpful in some cases. There's a built in social aspect, and it's very easy to approach. I love to cycle alone, but at a bike maintenance class, you have something in common.
