Talk about the weather. Is there a movie she wants to see? Has she seen XYZ TV show? The price of gas. How a lot of the latest music is great/sucks/sounds the same...

Small talk is about common experiences. Talking to women should be about eliciting information and capturing their imaginations. You should be blending the concepts.

The key is being casual. -“What are you working on?” -“Do you know anything about (relevant topic)?”

Avoid super surface level small talk and instead mention or ask something about your surroundings that she can help you with (job, school, gym, etc)

Don’t engage in meaningless talk over the phone, talk to her face to face only. Just talk about her, ask her questions about her and be interested.. dig deep. Not like an interview or interrogation but like a man who is genuinely interested. Girls love to talk about themselves. It’s ok to have lulls in conversation, don’t talk just to cure the uncomfortable nervous tension. Relax it’s not that serious, just remember interesting people are interested. She should be doing 80%+ of the talking and you should be doing 20% or less. That’s the key.. say less and stay blessed

You know nothing about her so ask questions or make statements/assumptions to get to know something about her.

Just make a guess about where you think she's from based on her accent . If you're both in London and she's from Rome make another assumption "Rome must be very different from London". Or alternatively make an assumption about why she's here "so did you move her to study"

If you make statements and assumptions it feels less like an interview for her and the reasons why you made those assumptions are a further talking point like maybe you assumed she's a student because she looks young etc.

Rather than thinking of random things to talk about to fill in the time be genuinely interested in her then you have an infinite amount of topics to get into and you'll be more genuine.

You can talk to her about dreams, desires, aspirations, goals, childhood, passions, hobbies, fantasies, friendships, family, feelings, anecdotes, experiences, lessons learned, plans, current projects,… etc

Use small talk to find a mutual topic of interest. Asking good questions stimulates better conversation. As someone said above the weather is pretty good because it’s so neutral and you can find some interesting branch topics from that.
