I remained a virgin until my marriage at 32. For me it was a personal choice. I had opportunities to get laid, but there was a part of me that wanted to explore the deepness of sex without comparing partners. It was worth it because I did indeed get to go deep with my wife.

Sex is more than physical. There is a very real energetic and spiritual connection that occurs. When you're in a committed relationship, you can explore your wildest fantasies with the confidence that your partner loves and accepts you. This is especially important for men, as we tend to judge our basest fantasies as bad or wrong. It takes a lot of trust to explore kinks with a sexual partner, and that trust is built over time.

Remain a virgin for as long as you choose to. Sex is very personal, so choose carefully. You'll make the right decision I'm sure.

If someone chooses to be a virgin, then it's acceptable. If not, then its probably 'frustrating' rather than unacceptable.

No, it could simply mean he's chosen not to have sex or not met the right person to lose his virginity to.

Can someone still be a 20+ virgin and live a happy and fulfilled life?

Yes, they can. However if they're not a virgin by choice then they're not happy and fulfilled.

There are men who decide to follow the spiritual path and stay virgins their whole life. Some men even join a monastery and stay there for the rest of their life. There's nothing wrong with being a virgin. A guy who is a virgin shouldn't be so hard on himself, that just makes things more difficult.

I once met a guy who was a virgin till he was 34, but then he learnt how to talk to girls and built a lifestyle that was attractive to girls. He eventually lost his virginity, and is happy with that area of his life now.

If someone is a virgin, telling himself that "something is inherently wrong with him" is just going to make changing things harder. He should accept that is where he is at. Then he has to decide does he want to stay that way (which is a perfectly good choice, plenty of people choose to stay virgins). Or if he wants to change it, then he has to take action to learn how to communicate with girls and build a lifestyle to help him meet and connect with girls.

But there is nothing wrong with him for being a virgin, and telling himself that will only lead to depression and self-hatred.

If it is as choice, then yes. However I'm 25 years old incel and depression, insecurities and hatred have gone so far thanks to inability to get laid that this year will be my last year on Earth. I haven't felt genuine happiness in years and I just do drugs to keep my mind off of being a virgin until my birthday comes and I'm going to end my suffering.

My suggestion is that if you want to lose your virginity, better to it fast, because as you get older, it gets harder.

To piggy back of the top comment, I’m a 21 M virgin but it’s more frustrating then anything. I don’t think I’m ugly but I’m very quiet so I never approached or let my feelings known towards a girl. I got a skinny built, but I’m probably stronger then I look(can do 100 push-ups without stopping if that means anything)

Been on this sub for a few years but I’ve yet to take that very first step. I was planning to do something this year but due to the corna virus the likely hold of that happen is slim now.

Also I’m not one of those people who’s waiting for the right person or anything, if I can get a hookup with a cute girl I’ll take it
