I recall reading something within the realm of chase framing where the advice was specifically to

1) give conditions "okay you can come if you promise to not interrupt all the time during the movie"

2) make it seem like she's the one that wants to do something. "Is this your way of inviting me for coffee?"

What are those techniques called?? Wanna read more.
