In my opinion, and based on my experience; She's bored and looking for attention/ an orbiter (someone to feed her ego and satisfy her social validation itch). SHE was the one who reached out and hit you up, then gave zero effort to the conversation.

It's not your job to entertain her. And only clowns and jokers entertain.

I'm sure you like this girl, but just give her some distance, STOP always being there for her, and stop questioning yourself -- and she'll come around. She has some sort of interest if she's texting you.

Don't overthink the texting fiasco. You fucked up for sure by being over-invested, but just give her some space and I'm sure she'll hit you up again.

Start with something besides how’re you doing? Add some personality into an initial response to get a conversation starting. “Hey how r u? Good how r u?” gets really repetitive and boring if you’re constantly having conversations like that

As long as you keep the conversation going and she is interested, she will respond. If she is not interested she won’t respond.

I have literally dm’d girls with just a very boring “Hi” and it worked.

You can say the most interesting thing in the world, but if they aren’t interested it won’t work.

You should let it go, hit her up at some other time BUT ONLY ONE MORE TIME, maybe two. If she leaves you on read, oh well. Tell yourself she is missing out (that’s what I tell myself as to not kill my confidence) and on to the next.

Your conversation is boring. You, as the man, have the responsibility to make the conversation fun and interesting.

Also, this sentence introduces a level of butthurt and anxiety in the convresation that is off-putting: "I didn't realise I could like not respond immediately if I need to do something"

Wait a week, then text her to ask her out somewhere, set a definite date time and place. Do not text her from then on until it is time to set the next date. If she does not respond, do not send anything. If she gives you a maybe for the date, say this: "Alright, some other time, hit me up when you figure out your schedule." Do not accept a maybe. Then forget it until she texts you.

As for now, don't message her. If she messages you between now and next week, set a date. Otherwise, wait till next week to be direct and set a date.

This looks like a tinder convo? You small talked yourself into a box and didn't ask her anything. You need to ask interesting questions. They don't need to be wild but something she'll want to respond to or that'll give you somewhere to follow up
