This post had to be taken down because it appears to be focused on a specific situation or person. While Field Reports deal with specific situations and people, remember that the focus is different:
No worries though! Though the thread has been taken down, any conversations you have started here can still continue, and if you want to PM a mod to get their opinion on this thread, feel free to do so and they will still be able to weigh in.
For next time, remember that posts about a specific situational advice with a specific person are fine as field should be directed to Ask Seddit (/r/askseddit), not to be confused with Ask Reddit.

Generally, when people act distant it's not because of you, but because there's something else occupying their thoughts. Maybe she's concerned about work, or late on bills, or worried about a family member in the hospital.
Be careful not to make it about yourself, because you will come off as needy and push her further away. Instead, let her know that you can sense a slight distance in her demeanor and ask if something is going on that she would like to talk about. Become part of her team, rather than disgruntled onlooker.

See how she reacts to another date/meet-up, it could just be that she’s busy.

You didn't explain how she's acting distant. You said you've been texting and she seems excited to go out again so what has changed?

I texted her in the morning and she hasn’t responded yet. I can see that she’s online. She uploaded a picture and story on the gram as well (with another guy.)

You took her out 2 times already so you pursued her and showed her that you like her. Stop texting her. Wait for her to text you first and if she never does, leave her alone. If she does text you, keep the conversation short, maybe 10-15 minutes and make a date.

Stop stalking the activities of someone else as if it entitles you to their attention.

Uhh. When did scrolling Instagram become stalking?
[–]letsgetrandy 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The moment that her activity somewhere else gave you the idea that you had some kind of right to her attention.
Dude, seriously... best bet is get off of social media altogether. But since you probably won't, at least do yourself a favor and unfollow anyone who you're trying to date. Knowing their activities is only making you play comparisons in your mind and trying to judge what the implications of someone else's activities mean in your own life. It's hella needy and clingy and insecure. People have lives of their own, and if you can't handle that, you don't need to be dating at all.

Women act distant when their interest has shifted and/or they lined up who they think is a better option. I have never seen anything to prove otherwise. Only thing you can do about it is to move on yo a better looking girl and make sure she knows about it. It's most effective if u move on to one of her friends, she will pull a 180 real quick.

That’s bullshit. She might have a lot going on at work, or she might be a bit shy. There’s loads of things that could be happening. Best thing to do is chill and get on with your life.

Of course there could be lots of things happening. The vast majority use every single one of these things to justify themselves spinning the next plate. Whatever they are dealing with they are still having sex, it's just going to be with chad while Brad is still trying to decipher:"why she acting distant?"

Women always have more options then men and they’re always being pursued. If she’s acting distant it usually means there’s another guy in the mix.

Probably you don't have chemistry. Anyways, invite her over for the next date and make a move. Take your time and open her up before making a move. If she's not cool with coming over, move on
