I know this is an obscure question, and that there is no definite answer but how can I tell if a change is worth pursuing or not? I've made ridiculous amounts of progress over the last two years and, just recently, I really honestly stopped caring which was a huge step for me. Now it's way less about girls, I don't even really care about girls, I'm now looking into becoming the person I want to be.

Which leads me to where I'm at. I've noticed lately that I speak a little too quickly and laugh too easily. I know that seems silly but they are traits from my days as the class clown type guy. I'd like to become a little more reserved. Making people like me has become a thing I do frequently but I feel like it gives off an air of trying and I really don't want to be like that. I'd much rather sit back and just do my thing. I'd like to become a little more stoic and reserved like the classic guy who's laughs are worth something and is kind of quiet and more mysterious then I've been over the last year.

Would that be realistic self improvement? or do you guys think this sounds like I may end up trying too hard in a different way or that I've got some underlining inner game issues I haven't thought about yet. I know your supposed to be yourself to a degree but I'd way rather get my james dean on at this point and just chill.

Any insight?
