Neither. Go solo. Unless you've got a solidly dedicated wingman who knows exactly what he's doing and what his role for the night is, you're better off alone.

I'd go with the second one. An issue I can see is that if he can captivate anyone, hopefully he'll know to tone it down when you're trying to talk to a girl that you're attracted to.

off the record I'd just say take the guy who wants to go the most or the one you'll have the most fun with. the person who is going to help you get laid the most is already going anyways. ( no, not Jesus, you if you hadn't caught on yet )

that being said it can be very nice to have a wingman who knows a thing or two about the game. but even if you take the handsome guy who is rather oblivious you can still find ways to spin it. as long as you show the girls that you are actually the leader ( ~alpha ) of your group , especially if that group has a hot member, you come off looking extra valuable. get him in on it, if he's a stand-up guy he'll oblige; this can be anything from going to sit next to a group of girls and making him get up to switch places with you while you are talking to them to a routine I invented to help my game-less friends where you approach two girls and you pretend you are going to teach your wing how to talk to a pretty girl and ask one girl ( obstacle ) to play along and the other girl ( target ) to help you give him pointers . imagine the value you'll display if you are actually the teacher of this model-looking mofo , plus your target never sees it coming because on paper you are winging your wingman and not the other way around. try it ;) !
