Why do all my direct daygame interactions fall through as opposed to situational?

Absolutely, I have your exact same experience (you can read some of my posts/comments), I no longer wonder, I do what works.

Let me explain: the way I read your post there are some activities that you do that woks great, and some others that don't work shit; and you are wondering why the ones that don't work... don't work, in spite of the fact that 99% of PUA/Seduction concentrated on those activities.

Here's my point of view: continue and increase those activities that work for you, and minimize the ones that don't.

I practice mostly what people in the PUA community call it daygame, and go to bars/clubs on dates.

Scenario 1- you come right up to a girl, stop her in the middle of whatever she was doing/thinking in order to tell her you think she's attractive and you'd like her number. Right away when you interrupt her she's going to be defensive, because she knows you're only into her because of her looks and she's caught off-guard when you break her train of thought.

Think about how defensive you probably get right away when a homeless guy stops you on the street and starts giving you a sob story and begging for change. You're probably going through the same feelings and building of defenses as she is.

Scenario 2- You approach her by commenting on something she's doing or something that's going on around you. You guys now have a shared experience, she was probably just thinking about the same subject, the conversation isn't forced, she probably thinks you're an outgoing person who talks to everyone. When you transition into another topic, now she's more accepting and receptive towards you. You don't come off as someone who's only interested in her to score because she's hot.

So why are you even attempting scenario 1 when you have success with the superior approach of scenario 2? The answer is probably that it's your ego fucking with you. You wan't to be so cool and so smooth that you can approach any woman, tell her you're there for her digits, and get them. You can continue to practice direct approaches if you want, but you'll always have lower numbers than with an indrect/situational approach.

If you start off with a compliment girls might feel the interaction as fake just because so many other guys they've rejected in the past have also complimented them just to sleep with them. Try going straight for the info you want with a 'are you single?' (courtesy: girlschase.com) or with your intentions 'you and I should hookup sometime' (courtesy: Alan Roger Currie/ Mode One). Warning: this is armchair advice since i havent done daygame but i'm curious if they'll work for you, so please report back on success/failure.

Create/observe a situation (e.g. "What do you think of that guy's dreads? Would they look good on me?"...etc. etc. you get the picture) to bring up as part of your initial approach. Anything should work, as long as it's something that your target can respond to.

I used to have the same problem, when you go direct a girl is forced to make a decision about you in the first 10-15 seconds. It all comes down to body language, facial expressions, vocal tonality &amp; projection. Basically the confidence you project.

See when i first started out i was slouching apolegetically, even my facial expressions said so, my vocal projection was off and my tonality communicated "i hope you like me"Everything was off and girls wouldnt hesitate to instantly drop the "i have a boyfriend" line

If that happens, it's over. You have no chance of recovering, whatever tactic you use, only prolonging the interaction which is just a waste of time. The only reason you would be doing so was because you want the hit to your ego to not be as brutal once you walk away.

The reason indirect is working for you is because its lower risk and far easier, also mentally its not as stressful, which is why indirect is always recommended for beginners.Going direct takes practice to master, more so if your naturally introverted, and in between that your going to get tossed around pretty hard if you have a fragile ego.

anyway everything else aside i'd say its the way your saying it thats not working. Your probably going in thinking "i hope this works" and it shows in your delivery and that turns girls off. this is an inner game issue more than anything.

If indirect is working for you, keep doing that until you have the confidence to do direct, or keep doing direct anyway but just know your going to hear IHAB ojection's quite alot until you get it right.

watch some youtube of sasha pua and the direct dating summit. these dudes are real direct and open with their intentions. i think the best part of direct is you dont spend 10 minutes in a set just to find out she has a bf.

in most of his in field videos he fucks up his hair and wears shitty clothes to prove it doesnt matter.

It is almost time to find a warm bed for the winter~ this isn't springtime anymore.

Being direct works great IF they are single OR willing. Most people are pretty pissed during the daytime due to work/school/errands/bills etc and chill the F out at night. Even if they are willing during the day dates are probably not at the top of the priority list so you end up being more of an annoyance than a potential.

Try being more indirect during the day- not really sure how that works since I work my ass off till 5:30 or 6 and then go try to destroy any sanity I have left at the bars. Things are much easier there. They are there for the same reason.
