Why do people not like the friend zone?

It's not bad if you're legitimately okay with being their friend, and only their friend. You should have no romantic interest in them. If you're their friend and want something more this is going to cause issues. You're gonna get butt hurt when she hooks up with other guys, and all other sorts of issues. If you're okay with being her friend and only her friend, then hell ya!!! Reap in all the benefits of having good looking lady friend.

Cause the term is mostly used by some lonely neckbeards who got rejected and put into the "friend zone" by one or more girls...

Nothing wrong with having good female friends. Most women can be a lot of fun (who would have thought, eh?) and people who only have guy friends are missing out.

But you have to set clear boundaries... getting attached or lying to yourself (supressing feelings) will just go bad.
