Found this old clip by Adam Carolla here on why hot girls go with "douchebags". Made me realize that one thing that all my natural buddies who absolutely crushed it with women had in common was that they had a VERY SPECIFIC image/style which had a lot of women chasing after them.

One of my buddies let's call him Brandon, was a short skater guy and dressed and embodied the "stereotype" 100%. he had big gauges, full sleeve tattoos, stubble, wore hoodies and dickies skate pants and his whole vibe was "I really just don't care". He spoke in a monotone voice and got high all the time. Whenever we went out girls always flocked to him. In a room full of better dressed, taller and social guys, Brandon actually stood out because he was the one guy who DIDN'T TRY. Girls would literally approach him first and at some point would say "I love how you look like you don't try" or "you look like you don't give a fuck haha"

Had another buddy who was the exact OPPOSITE of Brandon. Let's call him Tony. Think of a stereotypical Jersey shore guy and that's him. Tony is a NJ italian guy super loud (you would hear him before you saw him), liked to lift, wore affliction shirts or button down shirts with 3 buttons undone. Basically the vibe was "douche". He was super adventurous and would sneak into abandoned buildings with girls or steal golf carts and ride around town. Guy had no filter and no approach anxiety either. Girls would often say "wow you're so crazy/fun/wild etc." and he would hook up with a lot of girls he approached.

Now obviously there are some limitations in having a certain look/vibe/image. Since Brandon had more of a bad boy image, he tended to have a lot of insecure/crazy (but very hot) women throw themselves at him but responsible women that held stable 9 to 5 jobs didn't look his way at all. While Tony did bring out the crazy fun side out in women, he did often alienate shy "homebody" type girls just wanted to stay at home and watch a movie as opposed to check out the latest club or explore the nearest big city. However, it seems that there are more pros in having a certain image because the girls that like the look or are atleast are curious about it will CHASE MUCH HARDER and the less work/game you need.
