In my opinion, being insecure is good, as it always brought both me and others many advantages.

For example, both guys and girls around me feel better when I'm insecure, because it gives them space to shine and helps them feel superior to me.

By always doing what the other person wants I can make them like me more.

And it gives them the opportunity to control me which makes them feel powerful.

I for example encouraged the girls in my class to make fun of me, because that raises their value in the whole hierarchy.

As my parents said, I shouldn't act too confidently because that just causes conflict. They always told me I'm weak and I need to find strong people who will lead me and protect me.

Even there my insecurity helped me, my parents often randomly raised their hands out of nowhere as if they were to hit me, and by apologizing for making them do that, I made them smile.

So please tell me... Why on earth do girls suddenly find insecurity repulsive?

I'm literally acting insecure to make them like me more! I'm making them my whole world, I'm changing for them! What more do they want?

Do they want someone who's themselves and confident but doesn't care about them as much as me?
