I've been visiting and positing to all three of these subs for over 5 years now, under various throwaway accounts. I'm a 25 year old guy. In this span of 5 years, I've so far managed to get 6 dates out of it and keep my virginity.

Anyways, this is irrelevant to the topic. It seems to me that this sub is concerned with tips and tricks to fix social skills related to finding people to date, the Dating_advice sub is really about what happens with people you're dating or in a relationship with, and not how to actually find these people, and the Dating sub is a place wheee people go and sulk about why they can't get a date or find anyone.

As you can tell by the first paragraph and my extensive post history, along with my other account, I fit more into the Seduction sub. My social skills are OK, but they're at the point where I go to speech therapy on a weekly basis. Ironically, the pathologists (who are attractive grad students) don't see too many issues with me. Still, they've been helpful in getting me to recognize and understand patterns with tones of voice (positive, neutral, negative, type of expression), body language, etc.

On the Dating_advice sub, people who have these kinds of social deficits are seen as creepy. Take a look at this comment for instance. Yet if you bring up anything related to seduction, you will be scolded and told it's a misogynistic community. Well what if you weren't born with naturally good social skills, or you're more introverted than most people? I was the kid who skipped high school dances and parties. The people on that sub probably didn't.

And then you have the Dating subreddit. That seems to be more of a pity party to me. I don't visit it that much, because I'm interested in solutions, not complaining.

What do you think? Which sub is best for what? Are they more similar than how I'm portraying them? I truly believe if you have issues with social communication, anxiety, or any other spectrum-type issue, then this is the place for you. I have other issues as well that may affect my (almost non-existent) dating life, related to that.
