This is a reply to the recent post "They're Just People." The problem with posts like that is that the world as we would like it to be vs the world as it is are often not the same. Believing that all you need to do is to be a cool person and girls will flock to you, well, that would be nice if it were true. It would also be nice if you could become rich just by wishing it or if unicorns were real.

But they don't, you can't and they aren't. PickUp takes work, and is a real discipline.

As some examples, here are some things that you will hear from girls that you will most likely mis-interpret as indicators of disinterest when the reverse is true, along with right/wrong answers. I challenge anyone to argue that most guys would interpret these correctly without training.

Girl says: "Are you a player?" or "Do you do this with all the girls?"

This is indicator of interest. Not a strong one, it usually comes at the beginning. She's saying you're a confident (read: attractive) guy. She's not sure she's interested in you but she's marking you as a high value guy.

Wrong answer: "No I'm not!"

Right answer: Ignore, or "I've only done this with three girls... this week."

Girl says: "Are you gay?"

Strong indicator of interest. Usually comes 20-30 min into an interaction, and after she's displayed other IOIs. It's usually said in an accusatory, insulting manner, not in a friendly manner. It's a shit test, to test your confidence. She's directly testing your manhood and your confidence in it. It also indicates she thinks you're attractive, since "gay" usually means "attractive. I don't know if other guys get this a lot, but I do, possibly because I dress really well and have a slim, clean-cut look. This is a very strong indicator of sex that night--if you pass the test.

Wrong answer: "No way!" or "What the fuck, woman"

Right answer: "Stop saying that or I'll get my boyfriend to come and spank you."

Girl says: "I'm not going to have sex with you tonight"

Very strong indicator of not just interest but intent. 90% of the time, if a girl says that, you'll get laid that night, if you pass the test. It's about as clear a signal you will get. If you get a girl who says this into your place, often you'll be having sex almost immediately.

Wrong answer: "What? Why not?" or "Oh come on babe"

Right answer: "Whoa, whoa, what kind of guy do you think I am? You haven't even bought me dinner, girl."

A few other comments. In these cases, the girls are DESPERATELY hoping that you're going to pass their shit tests. They're just praying you're not a wuss who's going to give the wrong answer and make it impossible for them to mate with you. You are doing them a favor by being the confident and funny guy.

And by the way, there are some IOIs that are faked by girls, such as tossing of hair, that are just flirting without intent, but the above IOIs are almost always serious. That is to say, the intent is dead serious. If you pass them you will get laid. Girls rarely toss these shit tests out unless they're seriously screening you for strength and as a potential hook-up or more.

So it's your choice. "Be natural" and try to wing it (good luck, lad, and I pity your woman) or put some work in, develop skills, and become a man who has abundance, makes women happy, and increases happiness in the world.
