This might sound woo woo or something, but you have to manifest connection the right way in order to receive it. It's not science but I believe it worked for me.

The key thing: be authentic in your approach to people without expecting a certain outcome.

Just doing this can change your life for the better and takes a lot of pressure from your shoulders.

I try to be open to people by truly wanting to help out and people in my gym started approaching me a lot more recently. Have had some wonderful conversations and connections :)

Try to open up conversations with random people without expecting anything of them ever. Build yourself some social equity.

I think if you get to know someone, especially if they're physically attractive or sexually compatible, it pretty much guarantees a connection. A hobby or activity in common helps too.

Keep approaching! Make it your goal to meet X new people every week. Go to new places if old ones aren't working.

Reflect on why she stood you up (but don't bother her about it). Did you not interest her enough? Are you too accessible? Do you not have any hobbies or goals?

Work on yourself and keep approaching!
