I got told by a friend that I’m probably in the top 10% of Indian guys that she knows, and that was before I started to seriously work on myself. Now, I (sometimes) get approached at bars, like one time where a girl literally tapped me on the shoulder and we took it from there. I asked her to come outside but then I started to speak to other people and left her so nothing came of it.

But, I’m really enjoying where this self-improvement is taking me. I still have lingering oneitis so I am very dejected when it comes to approaching women. But surely I can just let them approach me? I am fun to talk to so I don’t really need to work on much there.

Why are men so focused on approaching instead of “being the prize” and let women approach you?
