Wygant preaches 'connections on a higher level' with women, right?

I'd like to think almost everyone's ultimate goal is to wind up in a long-term relationship with a great girl. But you have to fragment that goal in the short-term. So in an average day (and most of the FRs are regarding a single night), what is the goal, really? It's either to get a number (so you can see the girl again, because you LIKE her enough), or to kiss her (because you LIKE her enough to do it, and you don't go home with nothing), or to have sex with her (for the same reason).

Some guys close consistently and have sex with a lot of women. But I don't think that means they're purely just looking to get laid. When they find the right girl, they're not just gonna let her go because they like sex so much (and when they find the RIGHT girl, the sex should be pretty amazing).

It's not obvious just from reading FRs, but the guys who are really good DO connect with more girls on a higher level. But it's hard to put that into words. It's much easier to mention techniques, especially when they're just trying to show other guys how to make things happen.

The AFCs on here probably ARE just looking to get laid at first, because it's never happened (or only happened a few times).

On top of all that though, it's just statistics. If you have less experience, there's a much better chance that you'll LIKE the first girl you meet. Once you have more experience and meet more women, you're better at looking past the bullshit; it becomes much more difficult for you to LIKE someone, even if you do have a connection with them (abundance mentality- more girls are out there, and some of them might be better than the girl you're with).

The other problem is, when you talk about LIKING a girl, chances are you're more of an AFC who just met a girl- if you've known her for less than a month and you really LIKE her, you're doing it wrong- and you're simply getting attached too early. If you're a legit PUA and you talk about LIKING a girl, it's because you know what the hell you're talking about, and you've spent enough time with her to make such an important judgment call.

tl;dr- AFCs might just be trying to get laid, so closing is the initial goal. Or they make the mistake of getting attached way too early. PUAs try to get laid because they can and it's fun, but it doesn't necessarily mean they're not looking for that "special someone." AND, FRs traditionally have been about closing, or failing to close and seeking advice. They don't lend themselves well to "OMG this girl is amazing, let me tell you all about her!"

Not "everyone" and certainly not myself. But, I see your point. I think one reason it does seem like everyone is because those of us looking for LTRs are quieter about it. There's not as much bragging rights with "this girl and I had a really cool, deep conversation, and I didn't beta myself". I'd post shit like that but a lot of people wouldn't because it's too personal and/or they've got the same impression of seddit that you have

I highly suggest that you add the posters who have the insight you are looking for to your friends list on reddit. The signal to noise ratio is pretty bad here.

Every FR and story on here is about #close, K-close and F-close. No one on here tells a story about a girl they LIKED. In short all I am mainly getting at here is that Wygant talks about connecting with women and everyone on here uses it to fuck them and then end the connection. Skewed.

most of the girls i game, i like, in some way or another. my fuzzy feelings are not so relevant to the FR. but even if that's not the case, it doesn't really matter what we do or don't do with this material. you go ahead and do what you want with it.

keep in mind that for every genuine technique used to connect with a girl on a "higher level" there is a way to fake that technique just to get into her pants. of course guys are going to use that!

I'm curious if you looked at the people who actually refer to Wygant's materials. As you do, I'm sure you'll notice that most of the people who are posting field reports about rapid closes are not those people; and I wonder if you'd also notice that most of the people who like Wygant are really in it for exactly the reason you said: to find that special someone.

I'm only reading this stuff to better myself as a person and have a more entertaining fun life that spreads to everyone I meet. I'm not just trying to hookup with girls but I do want to have the best advantage at being with a girl I really do like and want an LTR with. I think there are more of 'us' out there than people want to admit.

You will certainly form the wrong impression if you go by what is said in FRs. They only deal with the mechanics of a social interaction. There's a reason we do things like get women to qualify themselves, so we know if we like them and want to invest our time hanging around with them. This sort of thing is exceptionally difficult to describe in an FR.

I'm new here, so I apologize in advance for any factual inaccuracies.

The way I see it, PUA is the art of picking up chicks (or dudes, what have you), so what you do after you've picked them up (whatever that means to you) is beyond the scope of pickup.

That being said, I don't see many FRs around here where OP says he explicitly closed the connection. I just see people telling us what happened last night with no indication of how the future will go.

Wygant's material is mentioned in so many peoples posts and stuff but no one here puts it to the use that maybe he did intend...

In my last FR, about being the mayor and talking to everyone, I think I gave a pretty good example of how well that can work when put into practice

This forum is about discussing strategies and what works in the field. It's assumed that almost everyone will indeed fall for a girl/make a deep connection/etc at some point, there is just no need to flood seddit with posts about it. They do not better the conversation nor lead to self-improvement.

As for Wygant, I see his material as probably the BEST overall seduction strategies for someone who has no interest in becoming a master. If someone just wants to meet a girl/not be forever alone/whatever, then Wygant's stuff is golden.
