If you just want experience going on dates, then message every woman on the site and go on a bunch of dates. Probably very few will be exceptionally attractive, but you'll get the experience.

Or just go out 7 nights a week to bars and clubs and run day game during the daytime and do it the old fashioned way. :P

From some of the statistical results that OKCupid publishes 27% of first messages get responses. Assume most of those become dates, let's say 20% of first messages. So on the surface, an 80% hit rate seems like a statistical anomaly (or a lie for the purposes of the example).

That said, if he reached out to girls with high enough response rates (usually ugly ones), it's possible he could pull a number close to this off. I probably have a 5-10% response rate with girls who contact me (mostly because girls who have to make the first move aren't exactly raking them in otherwise), so there has to be a bunch that jump at the chance to go out with any guy who's got it put together.

As far as lining dates up, it's definitely possible to fill your social calendar with online dates as long as your standards are low enough and your message rate is high enough. It's time-consuming, though. To come up with something non-generic for each message using her profile is harder than it looks. Don't make it longer than 3-4 sentences, as that OKC study also showed decreasing returns as you write more (plus, you look desperate). If you're only interested in practice, though, you might as well. I probably go on 1-2 a month from the site, but my standards are high.

my question is, what do you say in on a dating site? I am sure that on those sites, women are getting their inboxes filled will messages from guys wanting to hit on them. do people just say "hey, you're cute, let me take you on a date" or is there more tact to it?

You know, your remarks about going dating and then getting the experience to find better dates, it reminds me of something.

There's a running series on Japanese TV, they send a video crew to a random big city somewhere on Earth. Then they look around and find the most beautiful woman they see. They interview her and ask her to introduce them to the most beautiful woman she knows. The theory is that a beautiful woman knows other beautiful women, and would be acutely aware of a woman that is more beautiful than she is. And they pretty much succeed every time. By about the 5th link in the chain, the women are so beautiful, the next one could hardly be more beautiful, but is beautiful in her own unique way. I mean, they show a dozen or more women, at first the improvement in beauty is surprising, but then you are seeing pretty much 10s and 10+s.

Could there be a potential wingwoman technique here?
