Hello everyone,

Regarding the original post above… it made me think and after doing a search online and finding some interesting graphs and articles, it inspired me to post something here - fitting to the topic of the above post.

I don’t have access to the raw data of this study and thus could not personally analyse the raw-data myself - but let’s assume that the data and it’s analysis was performed correctly. The linked graph above then shows, that there is not a big difference between men and women when loosing their virginity. However, it cannot be denied that it’s easier for women to have sex, than it is for men - just imagine for example a (average looking) woman going into a bar and telling or signalling that she is available for sex tonight - she might easily have 3-5 guys available at her hands with practically no effort. If a (average looking) man of the same age does the same thing he will most likely be perceived as a creep and eventually even be kicked out of the bar.

Men and women look for different things when it comes to dating - women want fit / strong, masculine and (in finance, career, networking etc.) successful men who know how to get along in life and also with women (which men at the age of 18 are not - thus dating sucks for men during their teenage years and is better for them in their 30s and 40s). Put in other words (from Rich Cooper) “women wait at the finish-line and f*** the winner”. Men on the other hand want young (=fertile and ‘undamaged’ (meaning without daddy-issues and free from Traumata of being ‘ran-through’ and then rejected by ‘bad boys’)), fit (=hot / sexy, sportive and good looking), feminine (=agreeable and supportive) women - that’s why dating is great for women in their teens and twenties and hard in their 30s and later. I will not get into the negative effects that social media (like Instagram, FB, Snapchat etc.) and dating apps (like tinder etc.) have on a female’s ‘body count’ increase and the risk of by this collecting more and more traumatic experiences throughout their dating life. Otherwise this post will get to long - however I think everyone can figure this out by themselves by just thinking it through logically.

In short “Women are born with value and need to preserve their value and men are born with ‘no value’ and need to create their value”.

It’s important to understand this simple but powerful fact, to be happy and more successful with dating and life in general. I wish someone told me this fact when I was still a teenager (but better later than never) - that’s why I am sharing it here, so that it may be helpful for those who want to improve themselves, want to make the best version of themselves - and find at least some use, insight or inspiration from my words.

Coming back to the graph at the top of this post - I think everyone who objectively things about this and has some life experience can understand that there is some truth to what I just stated above - no matter what the graph about losing one’s virginity at different ages says.
