Hi all,

I posted here yesterday and I truly appreciate all of the support. This will be my last week in our currently living space so I'm gathering things as I go. Today, I saw a card from last Christmas that said "I love that you're my husband" and it completely gutted me.

I am a wreck but I realize that I can't keep crying in front of her. I'm struggling right now with the fact that I am going to lose the life that we had together, all the photos I have on my phone, a trip we took just a few months ago, and having to start over from scratch. Ultimately, I will miss her. We both still love each other but she says that ultimately, we are not right for each other and don't make each other happy and that is the reason for ending things. I know that she loves with everything she is and I'm trying to look at the positive...maybe she's right but what's also true is that I have never loved anyone the way that I love her and when I think of the future, I just see sadness.
