I’ve been on this subreddit for a few months l and it’s been a tremendous help for me mentally and emotionally as I navigate through my divorce process and rebuild my life again.

We’re all in the same boat but at different stages, but have the same hurdles to jump through.

I wanted to share something fitness related that I hope will help you get unstuck or at the very least, break a cycle in your routine that you may be having trouble breaking through.

I came across a charity fitness challenge for the month of February called the “push-up challenge “, the name of the game to complete 2,000 pushups from February 5-27, raising funds and awareness for mental health and research into suicide prevention.

2,000 is symbolic as that is the average number of daily suicides worldwide.

This is not an endorsement or advert for the cause, and I have no affiliation other than registering to complete the challenge.

However I do encourage anyone who’s looking for a kickstart to a fitness journey or looking for something purposeful to take on, to give it a shot.

Sometimes a small win becomes the catalyst that leads us to major breakthroughs, and contributing to something meaningful can be extremely powerful for lifting mindset and self esteem, building blocks to confidence and growth.

Just Google “the push-up challenge” to find out more and register, It’s free and you can do pushups from virtually anywhere.

Wishing you all the very best health, happiness and prosperity Gents!
