I have a temporary order for 50/50 custody. Exchanges are between me and stbxw’s mother. My kid has never wanted to leave grandma, even when me and my stbx were together. During yesterday’s exchange, per usual, child didn’t want to go with me and had a meltdown (I.g. Screaming, hollering, begging grandmother not to make her go, saying she didn’t like daddy, etc. ) it was rough. I didn’t know what to do - I was crushed. Kid finally calmed down and we were good. Got home and tears just started pouring from my eyes.

When the kid and I are together, everything is great, but these exchanges are getting the best of me. For the first time I thought about giving up the fight.

Can anyone give me some advice, or provide any feedback? I really need some help.
