Just wanted to ask a question if anyone has done anything like this.

My support payments are through the roof, cs and alimony and it is effecting the ability for me to get a mortgage as it creates a huge debt to income ratio issue. I have zero debt, 800 plus credit score, no car payments nothing outside of my cell and car insurance. I work in sales so they look at my base not my overall income even thought it has been consistent for years.

I have about 13 payments left of alimony and just want to throw additional at it to the state to get this gone. I have tried to offer the ex a buyout but she didn't want it which made no sense to me but what else is new!

Anyone actually done this?
