Hey everyone, My wife just filed for a divorce but she asked for more than her fair share of assets we owned and while disclosing her financials, she consciously left a few things out that. I also want to get out of this relationship and don’t want the fuss about the assets. However, now when I have to file for my financials can I also not mention a few assets (she doesn’t know about those assets) or do I disclose everything? Will the courts be able to dig/validate/demand my full list assets from various banks and companies? Also she mentioned all jewelry as one of her demands whereas my lawyer proposed that each person gets back what their family gifted (Indian Culture) or 50% of total but they don’t seem to agree. How much can they win in court if they continue to refuse our offers?
